Isolated_Patriot 11 points ago +11 / -0

Gab is the place, the fact that no MSM even mentions it as the place people are moving to should tell you everything.

If the owner of GAB was offered a billion dollars by Democrats to sell it I would expect them to sell.

Cash up front of course since we live in a Tyranny.

Parler 2, couldn’t be more obvious. Look at the name ffs. It’s chinese. Has it been accused of white supremacy? No? Then it ain’t off the globalist cabalist reservation at all.

Barbs 7 points ago +7 / -0

The sad thing is it isn’t Chinese. That was also my first impression due to the unfortunate name they chose. It couldn’t be more Chinese sounding if they tried, lol.

Why does anyone need to be on any of these stupid sites? Just one good, non biased newsfeed with comments enabled is all I need.

Sorry, but the author of that article is a fucking moron.

They’re comparing the number of donations instead of the size of the donations, and they’re pissed off that WinRed and Trump for President each only received a single donation, while Biden for President received several.

Except if you look at the spreadsheet, they gave the President and WinRed $1000 each, then gave Biden several tiny contributions.

He looks like a typical businessman to me. Even GEOTUS said he donated to both parties because that’s how the game is played. That way whoever wins, you win.

"MeWe's Weinstein resists the comparison to Parler or Gab, which tout themselves as free-speech sites. For one thing, he says, MeWe is serious about putting limits on what people can say. .
"I don't like sites that are anything goes," Weinstein said. "I think they're disgusting. Good people right and left and middle can't handle 'anything goes.' We don't want to be around hate speech. We don't want to be around violence inciters." .
Nor is MeWe meant to be a right-wing "echo chamber," the CEO said."

I have been a member of this stop the steal group for a long time. Not sure I agree: https://mewe.com/join/wwg1wga10

Just be aware - they are looking to shut them down https://files.catbox.moe/vki5gn.jpg

I've recommended MeWe several times on here, only to have people attack me. (Yes, my account is new. I deleted my last one, got a more secure internet provider, and created a new account.) I did a lot of research on MeWe and can't find anything bad or objectionable. People are trying to take down MeWe because it's a credible competitor to fb. I've experienced no censorship so far, it's enjoyable to use, and I get NO ads. My data is not being harvested and sold.

I thought this, too. Then I saw this and noticed several of the Stop the Steal groups disappeared. https://files.catbox.moe/vki5gn.jpg They since deleted this Tweet it seems because they were getting too much heat for posting it. Most of their userbase is right wing so it didn't go over well. The point being that they still have a bullshit TOS rule stating they will take down anything that fits their arbitrary idea of "hate speech".

I had heard that they took down the "Stop the Steal" groups, too. That doesn't seem to fit with their claim that they do not have people or algorithms reading content and only take things down that otherwise break laws. I just know that I'm on a "Conservative Christians" group and there are constant posts there about the fraud. No censorship, no deleting.

Exactly. I’m very suspicious of OP. Never had any issues with MeWe. OP is trying to damage a solid pro-1A alternative with a hit piece.

Haha yeah be suspicious of me but not the platform you are wasting your breath defending. Look, I could care less what you do - my warning is to anyone with a brain who sees the potential for what's possible. By all means, invest your time in it and don't come back crying when your group gets deleted for "hate speech" because the founder decides he doesn't agree with you. Remember, FB was once very welcoming to all as well.

Gab is a good Twitter replacement. MeWe is a good Facebook replacement. I do both. I think your article is BS, but time will tell.

2 day account. “Nooo don’t leave Facebook for a competitor!”

6
Isolated_Patriot 6 points ago +7 / -1

Every MSM article about the great internet migration talked about MeWe and completely ignored gab, and telegram where everyone actually went.

That should tell you something, but I'm not going to spell it out any more than that.

Where did I ever say anything about Facebook? Learn to read retard. Also, if I were going to promote a platform it would be Gab. At least they've proven their based.

I’m glad he doesn’t want it to be like Voat and is open to both sides of the political spectrum. That’s as it should be.
