There may be a few local journalists that practice it, but in general, the artform is completely dead. "Journalists" just repost reports from Twitter or 3rd party sources. News is no longer the "noble watchman", but entertainment. My theory is that either the mainstream media sells their favor to the highest bidder or the intelligence community uses the media for their benefit. The news does not want to truly uncover the truth. It wants to appear like it does all while distracting you with lesser issues. The elite have control over the media.
