NC Patriots,
My wife and I are considering moving from upstate NY to Eastern NC. We have friends and family in the state which is drawing us down there. We're small business owners and are fed up with how the state has handled COVID. We've seen a disdain for business owners and conservatives in general that makes us sick and gives us little hope for the future of NY.
I have some questions:
- What do you all think of Governor Cooper?
- How did the state handle COVID shutdowns?
- What is the financial outlook of the state?
- What is the political outlook of the state?

Cooper is an asshole. Almost as bad as King Cuomo. He shut all small businesses down. Bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities are dead or on life support. Overall financial outlook for state is still not too bad. Much worse than it was 18 months ago. But still seeing a lot of businesses move here for now. Other than Cooper and his henchman - AG Stein - most seats controlled by Republicans (for what they are worth...). We elected a Repub LT Gov and and a Repub Chief Justice of the NC Supreme Ct. If we survive 4 more years of Cooper I guess we will be ok.
All things considered I second “Florida”!
