That statement reminded me of my first “woke” moment last summer while talking to my college student. She was trying to convince me that America should “decriminalize” prostitution. The conversation went downhill fast as I was logically speaking to a programmed student. Our relationship has not recovered.
That being said, we won't go against a machine that has every arsenal against us for a glimmer of something that may not happen.
You're right though. We won't do anything. Not because we dont want too, but because we can't.
After everything is said and done, what happens next? What if it fails? Do we just go back to our lives?
Na.
If shit went south like you suggest and people took action, America would be no better than the third-world shitholes you see killing each other in the streets. Too much to lose.
Dunno. Today a small biz owner acquaintance -hit very hard w the pandemic- said to me, "But things are looking up. We have a new president." As we look at her deserted business. Ok. Maybe she needs a few days.
woah woah woah. Wood Chippers are nice, but have you thought about Industrial shredders? While being similar, they can get the job far faster and with less clogs than a wood chipper.
Rather rude to be saying with a smile that people can just find another job. Maybe Buttgigger doesn’t realize it, but it can take a while to get in a good position with these types of jobs. They don’t just happen overnight.
Seriously, what does Buttgig mean about creating "more jobs" under a green agenda? Buying more rare earth metals from sweatshop quarry operations in China? To blanket hundreds of acres of our desert in solar panels? Or more fucking windmill construction dotting our landscape that requires a boatload of carbon emissions to truck transfer the massive parts, only to replace them when the fan gets clogged with too many predatory birds? Thicker window replacement for our high rises to save on AC bills? WTF are these green jobs? Because, the way i see it you put a pipeline in the ground once, 6 months later the deer are munching on the new ROW grass, and everyone gets to benefit, economically, and with energy independence using our own resources. Fuck these bought and paid for politician idiots.
On top of solar being inefficient as fuck still and if the Inverter fails, womp womp. Enjoy an entire array down. Also enjoy the fucked PPT on a central inverter.
Don't go for micro inverters. Those things fucking fail like you would not believe.
Yes, and for as fickle as the solar panel setups are, the energy obtained is still routed to a substation generator that is run on good old fashioned oil or gas, no? Sounds like you have really delt with this mess.
Plus these windmills and solar farms are inefficient, only last about a decade, and require huge swaths of land. Green energy is a huge scam. If they were actually serious about transitioning from coal, they would be building more nuclear plants.
Watch the Planet of the Humans documentary. It features a bunch of greenies who are disillusioned with the whole Green Energy scam.
good points just want to add that the wiindmills are made from petroleum and are not degradeable, recyclable, and only last for 2 or 3 decades. plus the solare panels are highly toxic and clean disposal/recycling is almost impossible.
I wish I could be as optimistic as you, it will only embolden them I fear. The media will cover and orgasm over the progress they made and how we're living in a sunshine and daisies utopia.
Media coverups aren't going to help when larger and larger numbers of people are jobless and destitute. At a certain point, state propaganda simply can't hide reality. This is the problem that Communist states ran into.
Although will they be enough? I was under the impression that the Chinese and the UN soldier is only good for bullying, human trafficking, and just being a scumbag to the people they are "policing". When the chips are down and the oppressed starts to fight back HARD, will the Chinese and UN soldier be able to stand their ground, or will all they do is to provide free guns and ammo to anyone who kills them?
blue helmets are nothing to be feared. the chinese have little if any bexperience in battle. if either came here they will go native with local crack whores and become like hunter.
I inferred from Rush Limbaugh that he's confident of the same; he doesn't know when, but the Dems "blow it" every time and it will happen again.
I believe it, too. When Obama became president, the Dems owned all the branches of government. Then when it seemed like they would reign for another forty years, they lost them (though in fairness there were a lot of RINO's around so it was more of a "lost on paper"). And they may have been cheating even back then, too.
The Irony of the Learn to Code meme is that most of the jobs have been offshored and the ones that are still Stateside are being swept up by H1B visa labor. This shit has been going on like this since Bill Clinton transitioned us into a "Service Economy."
It used to be that countries would produce everything they needed themselves and then serve those goods and services to their constituents. This was good because in the case of an emergency such as war. There people would not be reliant on other countries. A country could refuse to stop servicing something to a neighboring country and things would be fine.
However, with globalism, it was determined that the economies of the world should be linked. Countries that produce certain things the most effectively should export them to others in the world and so on. This made countries reliant on each other and made it politically impossible for countries to say "go to hell" to other countries.
The issue is that if you can't say go to hell, you cannot negotiate.
Resource dependencies always existed because some things are found in some places and other things are found in other places. The United States, for example, had to source its Titanium from the USSR because the ore that had the highest concentrations and which was practical to mine at that time could only be found in the USSR or China.
Likewise, before the invention of the Haber-Bosch process, Germany did not have large-scale access to nitrates, which are key to both agriculture and production of munitions.
Japan is scarce with natural resources which are key to industrialization, so they have always been dependent on imports to acquire them. Addressing this dependence was a key motivation for their imperial expansion. Their ultimate defeat was a lesson that they'll just have to rely on trade for key resources, and they have prospered by accepting that since then, as long as the US shields them.
It's sure nice to be self-sufficient, and the US is in a better position for this than most countries, but nations have gone to war over exactly these concerns - not so much the inability to acquire key materials in trade, but the fear of being denied access. "I must conquer you because you might hurt me."
Incidentally, this ("I must conquer you because you might hurt me") is the entire logic of US interventionism abroad, to the extent it's not straight-out profiteering.
ussr did that too and because of that the quality control of machinery in particular was horrible. imagine fitting different pieces of a washing machine that are made hundreds of miles apart. helped stop black marketeering but defeated the purpose overall.
spot on...those H1B visa holders who can't get a job or work in SV but can't still pay the rent go on to work their remaining hours as UBER, Lyft and DiDi drivers.
Yeah, also the majority of new hires are contract workers who get paid $25-35/hr to write code (and also get swept up into having to do lab management, support work). These aren’t idiots too - I had a contractor who worked under me who was a legitimate genius. He would redesign things out of boredom because he felt they weren’t up to his standards. Significantly underpaid for what he did (same with the other members on his team). We had to fight to get the team a raise since it was pathetic what they were taking home ($25/hr).
Total brainwashed leftist. Open borders, meritocracy is racist, all cultures are equivalent, any inequality necessarily proves discrimination because to suggest that anyone isn't as good at something for any reason is evil, national pride is evil, white people cause all the problems, (he was white, of course), all wealth is stolen from natives, Keynesian economics is proven flawless, everything, every leftist insanity worn on his sleeve without shame or doubt.
Only later did I find out that he wasn't even Canadian, he was from South Africa and moved to Canada before moving to San Francisco. He would call Nelson Mandela "Madiba" in casual conversation. He though being from South Africa made him an expert on the beauty of multiculturalism. He also thought that all of South Africa's modern strife is caused by evil nationalists ruining everything. That put him in such a new light. He wasn't merely Canadian, he was a true "citizen of the world" type. No pride in anything except his commitment to guilt-based multi-culturalism.
I'm haunted by the sincerity of his hateful and destructive beliefs, and how hateful he perceived all alternatives to be. He exuded disdain for anyone who disagreed, and since he thought his beliefs made him a nice guy, he didn't even try to be nice.
He was the most post-national person I've ever met, and one of the most politically detestable.
Been to South Africa. Watched 15 government workers (all black because that’s the only people who are hired by law) stand around a job site for 3 hours then go to lunch at 1130. Didn’t come back to work.
Found out later the road still hasn’t been fixed in 8 years. That was the norm.
He wasn't merely Canadian, he was a true "citizen of the world" type.
Strange then, that he didn't migrate to Ethiopia (which was never colonised by evil Europeans) or Liberia (literally created by freed American slaves).
200 countries to choose from, and he went with two of the richest regions in the world.
"Rules for thee but not for me" is the core belief of these people.
1 million a year for the last 55 years is not an insignificant number, especially when you consider their kids. I take it you haven't been in school for the last 20 years or this would be very noticeable in any town except for the most lily white suburbs.
I really don't get why the social justice lunatics haven't correctly called out western migration policies as neocolonialism;
We singlehandedly demolished the innovation power of dozens of economies through a mix of contemptuous outsourcing, mass illegal migration and high-skill labor import.
Outsourcing guts the innovation power of an economy by making medium skill workers bankroll the innovation of other leaders, resulting in stagnant corporate branches that only serve to grow an office thousands of miles away from you and expansion into different nations than your.
Mass immigration is singlehandedly responsible for most countries having their wage growth rate detethered from the economic growth rate, with it pushing down some wages so low you literally can't compete legally anymore.
And high skill labor import is just the most blatant, attrocious form of neocolonialism you could think of. Hey, you know what Nigeria absolutely doesn't need? Doctors, nursus and engineers! I mean, yeah, we are basically assuring their entire education system has its return on investment gutted all but assuring they won't see proper funding anywhere in the next half century, and took the "developers" out of a developing nations while assuring thousands die due to the healthcare costs we purposely inflated to a luxery product! but hey, look at it from the positive side! Apple just got some dumb twat from Kenya who is a natural at microsystem engineering to sign up for a job in the US where he will earn the market bottom rate because he isn't in any position to bargain anyways even if he understood the market rates here :D
Also another thing; imagine HOW MUCH BETTER Mexico would've been off is all those people willing to make a hundred mile trek and go work as an effective slave class JUST for a shot at a better life ACTUALLY used all this energy and impulse to change Mexico?
I mean, from an individual perspective, there shouldn't be a single soul on gods green earth that disagrees with the concept; why wouldn't you want to get the best you can within your capabilities to do so? From a societal perspective, its however utterly untenable.
Its just like here in the EU; everyone loves the idea they can move to another country with minimal administrative hassle. You wanna move to Spain to sit out your retirement? Sure, it will take you like 2 months to get the administrative side in order and you don't even have to renew your residential permit if you just naturalize at the end of your 5 years, and even if you did it would just be a quick visit to the town hall and 25 euros. Everyone however loathes the idea its a 2 way street, and that other people have that exact same privilege. You'll hear some Europhile praising how easy it is for him to just go on vacation in Austria, and the next sentence curse how difficult his work as a construction overseer has become after polish seasonal workers that barely speak english and don't speak the native tongue began to make up most of his workforce and that Romanian's that are renting from him should be evicted because they are living there with trice as much people as they should.
That’s why the Mexican president liked Trump. The promise of a closed US border does two things for Mexico. First, it creates a disincentive for migrant caravans from their south. Second, it keeps their most diligent and adventurous people at home.
yup, supposedly there are entire towns in mexico with no working age men. but there are nice houses built for their fatherless/husbandless families with their money sent home.
As a legal immigrant from India, yes. But there aren't enough Americans good at what I do (machine learning artificial intelligence) and there are so many companies still offering roles to both Americans and legal international but cannot find because the supply isn't enough
Believe me besides the mass horde of low skilled software engineers, we earn and contribute to society way more than you do. Only ethnicity with over 100k median income. We can't steal jobs if literally nobody else has the skills to do them
Honestly I expected them to give him it day 1 for stopping an assassination attempt by vetting over 25k National Guard and taking their weapons from them. Even was generous enough to house them 5k to a parking garage.
most would happily go on to washing cars, toilets and mowing lawns but wait, that would be racist, you are now competing and taking jobs away from the downtrodden and mostly poorly educated minority trying to make a life in the US.
Yes, the 50 year old pipefitter that is trying to get his kid through college is going to "learn to code" and get a razzle dazzle fantastic job in Silicon Valley and there's no way, that some H1B Visa girl from Ireland or Apou from Indian isn't going to work that same job for a lower wage and with less benefits.
Union workers have been voting themselves out of union jobs for the last 40 years. They have yet to realize, at least in the private sector, their union stewarts and reps, aren't doing what is best for the workers. They are doing what is best for the Democrat party. It's already the case in the U.S. that 90% of union jobs are government jobs or are forced by law (Bacon Davis Act) to contract with government. I often wonder, if it weren't for the Bacon Davis Act, if there would be any private sector unions in the U.S. at all anymore because they pretty much only work government jobs because they're priced out of in the private sector.
Agreed, President Trump was the best thing for US tradesman in years, the unions should have figured this out (some did). Open borders do nothing but allow unskilled cheap labor in the country for folks that want to exploit it.
Problem is the heads of the unions are corrupt pieces of shit just like the heads of every other government agency and they don't give a fuck about what their workers want.
Especially not with the ageism in big tech.
Which of course they need to do, because they keep young kids who don't have a fully developed sense of morals yet.
Union workers have been voting themselves out of union jobs for the last 40 years. They have yet to realize, at least in the private sector, their union stewarts and reps, aren't doing what is best for the workers.
I think the workers themselves are firmly voting right at this point. The leaders are in bed with the Democrats, but the rank and file doesn't seem to be.
If the government ever shuts down again I better not hear one word about how they are struggling after being out of work a few weeks...remember how that would work? They would shut down government and then we would hear sob story after sob story about them not working a few weeks. Nevermind they would not work but still get to receive back pay. After the crap they have pulled this year with shutting down businesses, and now this, they are never again allowed to complain.
This was the same for me as a fed gov't contractor. I didn't mind though, because I didn't have to waste time talking to any of the gov't workers or call into their meetings.
It's only killing jobs in red states, so he really doesn't give a fuck. But he's the healing president restoring America from all the mean tweets Orange Man put out! Who needs a job?
They're going full acceleration, folks. If you're from any walk of life that didn't vote for a globalist, you're getting punished.
And honestly, I’m glad. This is the only way to make enough people hurt fast enough for them to possibly wake up, and actually stand together. I’m honestly surprised the left is fucking up this bad. They are drunk with power after stealing the election, and they are not thinking and acting clearly at all IMHO. This will hopefully be there undoing.
Temporary, as in jobs as long as the pipeline was being built. Not temporary like a 20 hour a week temp. Just temporary full time jobs like most construction jobs over multiple years.
Those “temporary” jobs pay 100-200k+ a year. For the same person getting a local blue collar job, that salary is 4-8x they would get elsewhere. The energy blue collar jobs can be life changing for those willing to accept what goes along with them. (Weeks away from family, etc)
Learning to be a pilot is easier than learning to code. While a lot of "coding" done today is just already existing libraries and code being mish mashed together, you have to actually understand the code itself to know how to mish mash it. And when you don't have a library to work with, or need extra code to make the libraries work together......you need to know how to code. So there's different levels to the job, but the base level is that you need to know how to code from scratch if need be. Not to mention coding languages change all the time. You have to constantly retool your coding ability to a new coding language, and know several of them at once. Not to mention all of that requires a pre-existing knowledge of the underlying architecture and hardware. Coding isn't something you just learn and then you're set. Coding requires a constant learning of new languages and methods and awareness of new hardware. And all of that, for peanuts pay.
And the more complex systems get, the harder it gets to code, the more bugs there are to fix. I don't realistically see any significant number of people in the 30+ age range, being able to retool their abilities to learn to code. And even if they did, then you'd just have an over saturation of coders. Not to mention that coding typically isn't a forever job, you're constantly changing employers, because coding is largely done as a per-project job. Which means highly varied and unsteady income. You might be helping to code a phone app for a few months, then coding for a gaming company for a few months, then coding for some other software program. All different clients, vastly different needs, using vastly different hardware focus.
We don't have a shortage of coders. So adding even more would just make the market over saturated and the pay even more terrible, with a lot of effort.
Most jobs, you might learn as you go a bit over the years, but they don't require you to completely retool to keep the same job. If you fix up houses, paint, drywall, put in floors, etc.....that doesn't require you to be in a constant state of learning new things, and even when you learn new things, they're not very complex, so acceptable. But for programming, it's like "ok now you have to learn how to build a house in a completely different way in order to keep your job, because we don't use the old way anymore" every few years or less, and that kind of change happens regularly in the coding field.
People simply aren't made for jobs that require constant ground up changes in their requirements that require essentially learning a whole new field over and over.
a little known fact is that amphetamine use is rampant among computer programmers, those that arent are on the aspergers/autism spectrum ...most people dont like the idea of becoming meth addicts to start a new career even if they could learn to code.
They don't care about unemployment - they want to turn on the war machine again. When there's that level of chaos, and that much money flowing it is easy for the swamp to profit. Trump disrupted business as usual.
Import the 3rd world to make trades impossible to support a family on
Export all manufacturing till you cant support a family on that either
Import the 2nd world for all the skilled positions, because they work for less, making the bottom drop out of the market until eventual it makes no money anymore.
Make the places where you can work have a cost of living so high you cannot live with a family on your salary
I emigrated from the Netherlands to Norway myself, but I might do so again in the future... we live in a dark world these days. And a light that was rekindled again went out in the US. I just hope it flicks back to life.. or that this happens to the now smouldering remains of the light we once had in Europe.
Labor costs are higher (meaning people earn decent wages)
Importing things can be very expensive to Norway, meaning the local economy takes precedence in most things where it can.
There is less imigration, and unlike other EU nations, you can come here, but only if you can prove that you can support yourself and/or get a job to do so.
Norway pays subsantially less money to the EU than most member states
Norway has a larger degree of independence
Norway to a large degree has much more sovereignty
Norway is capable of closing its borders when it needs to
Some of these things fall in the category of "protectionism" which is a thing I was pretty much taught in school was "bad" and is not how the EU works.
However, it is good, because it works against globalism, stops needless consumerism; which is almost like a disease at times, stimulated by large international businesses.
It might be different from one union to the next. I've heard the horror stories about unions being filled with worthless pieces of shit who show up and do almost zero work and feel they're entitled to collect a paycheck.
Not surprising at all, sadly. I remember when Obummer told people to just get over their lost jobs because they aren’t coming back. Of course, Trump and the magic wand happened, but still
A pipeline worker of 20 years can totally find another job in a completely different industry because the new Biden admin is gonna create new jobs for them using magic.
To all the Libtards who actually voted for the Potato here's a question... How's it feel to know you're the Turkey's That Just Voted For Thanksgiving?" Hahahahahahaha
Find another job, huh. I guess administration couldn't be bothered to create another job. Crazy to expect that after paying taxes. The only upside is keep this going and it's 4 years of the best marketing for Trump.
Wait, this is really their answer to this? Woooowwww they don’t give a shit about Americans
never have

I hope the tens of thousands of y'all are planning a PEACEFUL AND LAWFUL protest in DC soon
Nope let them reap what they sow. We have the skills to rebuild it. They will die without their grocery stores or the internet.
They’ll probably keep a permanent national guard presence at the capitol to stop anything like that from happening
Biden, unfit for fitters
Fuck stickers, hold your union leadership accountable. Every dirty union trick they use on strikes, use on them. Picket their homes using baseball bats to hold your signs. Leave them dead rats with dollar bills stuffed in its mouth. Vote them out.
Sounds like your going to be fired eventually anyway. They are coming after jobs.

Will be soon.
Lot of committed people got betrayed.
we can get to the capitol if we are determined enough.

you're leader is getting some well deserved rest, stand by.
This is just the beginning. Silly one. This work is not for the faint of heart and seth, I don't think you're gonna make it..
Fuck off, asshole. You allowed yourself to be used by Antifa to ruin things for Trump. He's sacrificed enough for this country.
he could pardon those charged at the capitol, even for trespassing but he didnt.

dont have to concentration camp them if you soft kill and sterilize them with a shot.

Must not have been other “applicants” for the position “applied” for.
Well she was also a lot younger than she is now.
Being an attractive woman in your mid-to-late 20's can get you places if you suck the right dick, as Kamala found out.
And if you have no moral compass. Kamala was/is a perfect choice for this establishment.

Insanity
so so true. and many many people open their eyes wide now to this fact.
and as emboldened as they feel with the blatant theft of the admin - they're not planning to hide any of their disdain, either.
Their hubris will be their demise
Voting doesn’t get the American people out of this situation.
They voted and cheated us into this shit, we are probably gonna have to minecraft our way out of it.
Who said anything about voting? 30% approval rating incoming. Revolution is right around the corner.
Will that be enough to break the conditioning?
It is indicative of it
I didn't hear anything about voting, either.
People are going to have to get awfully hungry
They will
The government will never save us from the government.
This is the problem that Communist states ran into.
that's when they bring in their Chinese allies or U.N. blue helmets to maintain
orderobedienceAlthough will they be enough? I was under the impression that the Chinese and the UN soldier is only good for bullying, human trafficking, and just being a scumbag to the people they are "policing". When the chips are down and the oppressed starts to fight back HARD, will the Chinese and UN soldier be able to stand their ground, or will all they do is to provide free guns and ammo to anyone who kills them?
blue helmets are nothing to be feared. the chinese have little if any bexperience in battle. if either came here they will go native with local crack whores and become like hunter.
meah while their faces are plastered all over the place they will never be able to live a true normal life when we all know the truth.
#spiritcooking pizza and hotdogs in their basements isn't part of a true normal life to begin with
#pizzagate
just like North Korea and they don't believe it either.
As it always is.
Will be hilarious when all the blue collar do learn to code and basically delete/block left from internet 3.0
Like most economic decisions, there is always a trade-off.
Being isolated and self-sufficient means denial of potential prosperity.
Being dependent means denial of control.
Countries should always strive to find the balancing point that works the best for them and their populace.
Once China is finished with Taiwan, they'll turn their attention to Japan. Their days are numbered.
ussr did that too and because of that the quality control of machinery in particular was horrible. imagine fitting different pieces of a washing machine that are made hundreds of miles apart. helped stop black marketeering but defeated the purpose overall.
spot on...those H1B visa holders who can't get a job or work in SV but can't still pay the rent go on to work their remaining hours as UBER, Lyft and DiDi drivers.
Start in your garage.
and neither should you
Trump was them only president to put the needs of the American people first.
That seems like a clown world headline so probably accurate.
'learn to code' was originally coined by obama. it was not done by 4chan at all.
Find another job as they continue selling jobs overseas and importing illegals. Wow. Brilliant.
Legal immigrants take white collar jobs.
Look no further than Canada. The worlds first post-nation state.
I'm suddenly reminded of this Canadian I knew.
Strange then, that he didn't migrate to Ethiopia (which was never colonised by evil Europeans) or Liberia (literally created by freed American slaves).
200 countries to choose from, and he went with two of the richest regions in the world.
"Rules for thee but not for me" is the core belief of these people.
just like zero husein living next to the same white peole he hates.
Sounds like Australia. Gee I wonder why.

The Ugly Truth About Immigration
The number of legal immigrants (IMMIGRANTS, NOT H1B visas) is an almost insignificant number overall.
The amount of illegals in the nation that kill the wage rate is severely understated
1 million a year for the last 55 years is not an insignificant number, especially when you consider their kids. I take it you haven't been in school for the last 20 years or this would be very noticeable in any town except for the most lily white suburbs.

There's No Place Like Utopia - Peggy Joseph film excerpt
It's not the bullshit 11 million either. It's upwards of 30, plus thousands crashing the border, chinese flying in anchor babies. It's ridiculous
I really don't get why the social justice lunatics haven't correctly called out western migration policies as neocolonialism;
It's even more dastardly than that. What happens when a person with IQ 90 moves from a country with average IQ 80 to a country with average IQ 100?
Average IQ decreases in both countries.
Also another thing; imagine HOW MUCH BETTER Mexico would've been off is all those people willing to make a hundred mile trek and go work as an effective slave class JUST for a shot at a better life ACTUALLY used all this energy and impulse to change Mexico?
Mexico would probably be as prosperous as Texas.
Exactly. I moved to the US from another country. That country invested in my education and would have been better off if I stayed there.
Second, it keeps their most diligent and adventurous people at home.
yup, supposedly there are entire towns in mexico with no working age men. but there are nice houses built for their fatherless/husbandless families with their money sent home.
you are assumong lefty social justice lunatics arent hypocrites.
As a legal immigrant from India, yes. But there aren't enough Americans good at what I do (machine learning artificial intelligence) and there are so many companies still offering roles to both Americans and legal international but cannot find because the supply isn't enough
bullshit, they just like to pay you shitty wages half what they would pay an american.
Believe me besides the mass horde of low skilled software engineers, we earn and contribute to society way more than you do. Only ethnicity with over 100k median income. We can't steal jobs if literally nobody else has the skills to do them
Is it too early to give Biden his worst president ever trophy?
Well, he ain't president, so...
Worst usurper?
Worst pretender
Dude you're high. They are polishing up his Best President trophy right now. And soon, he's gonna be receiving his Nobel Peace Prize.
Honestly I expected them to give him it day 1 for stopping an assassination attempt by vetting over 25k National Guard and taking their weapons from them. Even was generous enough to house them 5k to a parking garage.
i thought he should be getting his nobel peace prize about now.
The gulags will need guards and re-educators
They can’t even control the internet without making total fools of themselves.
I got over the gulag idea as they would be a pretty good time with my friends and fellow pedes.
I’m more worried about them realizing that they have no mandate and pulling a Tiananmen on us instead.
Can you imagine how red pilled a gulag re-educator would be after two weeks in a room with 30 pedes?
This. I was going to say this. These creatures that stole our government from us, are we inhuman trash.
most would happily go on to washing cars, toilets and mowing lawns but wait, that would be racist, you are now competing and taking jobs away from the downtrodden and mostly poorly educated minority trying to make a life in the US.
In this world, the shit rises to the top.
Most "coders" can't even pass the Fizz Buzz test; they're shit. We don't need "more" of them, we need COMPETENT ones.
I consider myself an incompetent coder, and I support this message.
That's a good point. Most coders these days are too scared to use a command line.
We'll be worried about electricity soon not Fizz buzz or other stupid shit like that. You have no clue do you.
“Learn to code” is almost exclusively a term used by people who don’t know how to code
As a hobbyist I can't believe that. You got any stories?
Especially not with the ageism in big tech.
Which of course they need to do, because they keep young kids who don't have a fully developed sense of morals yet.
They think pipelifters can just get into coding and they think coders can easily do things like farming. Like it's all so easy to switch into.
I think the workers themselves are firmly voting right at this point. The leaders are in bed with the Democrats, but the rank and file doesn't seem to be.
How about we apply the same standard to government workers.
And then they were paid for all the time they didn’t work.
And it sure as heck was more than $600!
Full wages every time.
So they got paid for the service they provided in any other month, you say?
That's what back pay means :)
This was the same for me as a fed gov't contractor. I didn't mind though, because I didn't have to waste time talking to any of the gov't workers or call into their meetings.
Halfway there already. They've already outsourced the Federal government to foreign laborers.

Only because there aren't any jobs in blue states, to be fair.
Mostly true
“They're going full acceleration, folks.”
They lost 4 years and 2030 is near.
As if libtard voters have it any better.
H1B visas take jobs from college grads and silicone valley tech nerds (Biden voters).
Mass migration and BLM turn urban areas into dangerous post apocalypse zones.
Not true. He fucked New Mexico.
Orange Man bad.
Senile Man evil.
Tell Ron Weasley we don't fucking care what Biden has to say.
Big Harry Potter fan and I just giggled at this lmao
The "fact check" rhetoric on this is "they were just temporary jobs lol"
https://www.statesman.com/story/news/politics/politifact/2021/01/22/keystone-pipeline-jobs-lost-joe-biden-executive-order-cancel-fact-check/6673822002/
Disguisting, acting like a "temporary job" can't be the difference between standard of living and poverty for a family
These people are inhuman
lol those pesky $100k a year temporary jobs
Temporary, as in jobs as long as the pipeline was being built. Not temporary like a 20 hour a week temp. Just temporary full time jobs like most construction jobs over multiple years.
Yup. The kind of “temporary” that puts six figures into middle class households. Not $9.75/hour doing gig work or pouring lattés.
I’m disgusted.
Those “temporary” jobs pay 100-200k+ a year. For the same person getting a local blue collar job, that salary is 4-8x they would get elsewhere. The energy blue collar jobs can be life changing for those willing to accept what goes along with them. (Weeks away from family, etc)
Technically all construction jobs are temporary. You build something, finish up, then build something else!! Rinse & repeat
Clasic commie Balkan argument after they destroy jobs. Btw greetings from commie Balkan 😆
Hrvat?
Da 🙂
I feel like I'm in clown world
Buckle up. Just getting started
Seriously. What is this day three?
It’s gonna be a long spiral for us. You know, since we no longer have elections.
You is
Nigga my brother has a FUCKING DEGREE IN PIPEFITTING YOU RETARD
Mines in pipe laying. 😎
Same bro
Puttin it down.
Yup. Lots of those jobs don’t have transferable skills.
Well, you could always learn to play concert violin for a living if coding does not work out.
Yeah, remember the whole Hillary glorification of the gig economy? Know anyone who makes an actual stable good living with this bs?
a little known fact is that amphetamine use is rampant among computer programmers, those that arent are on the aspergers/autism spectrum ...most people dont like the idea of becoming meth addicts to start a new career even if they could learn to code.
They don't care about unemployment - they want to turn on the war machine again. When there's that level of chaos, and that much money flowing it is easy for the swamp to profit. Trump disrupted business as usual.
Alberta and Saskatchewan are upset, Trudeau is happy about it
diblasio and nyc was just a preview.
I heard 180K jobs lost in Canada
You mean, the jobs the democrats destroyed with their Lockdown?
Jesus Christ. I know the answer but i feel compelled to ask if this is real. Is it? Is this really their fucking response?
Import the 3rd world to make trades impossible to support a family on
Export all manufacturing till you cant support a family on that either
Import the 2nd world for all the skilled positions, because they work for less, making the bottom drop out of the market until eventual it makes no money anymore.
Make the places where you can work have a cost of living so high you cannot live with a family on your salary
Buy all the farm land, choke off the food
Are we seeing the end game here yet?
I smell the “great reset” a comming and it’s ripe with the foul stench of “progress.”

It's almost a wonder they haven't yet dropped something like
(not real quote, just hypothetical)
I emigrated from the Netherlands to Norway myself, but I might do so again in the future... we live in a dark world these days. And a light that was rekindled again went out in the US. I just hope it flicks back to life.. or that this happens to the now smouldering remains of the light we once had in Europe.
Norway is still okay, so far.
maybe because norway is not a member of the EU?
ding ding ding
Some of these things fall in the category of "protectionism" which is a thing I was pretty much taught in school was "bad" and is not how the EU works.
However, it is good, because it works against globalism, stops needless consumerism; which is almost like a disease at times, stimulated by large international businesses.
Open the new United Republic of Texas!
I imagine those troops in the capital will be there the next 4 years.
Won’t be able to find another job once they’ve destroyed every industry.
I kinda doubt anyone voted for Biden.
I dunno what to think about something like that.
I'm in a union, and most of my co-workers are Trump supporters, but the union sent us cards in the mail that were campaign ads for Joe Biden.
So the masses were based but the leadership were shills.
It might be different from one union to the next. I've heard the horror stories about unions being filled with worthless pieces of shit who show up and do almost zero work and feel they're entitled to collect a paycheck.
But the one I'm in seems to be mostly patriots.
Sure, pipefitting and programming are virtually the same skill set.
All the pipeline workers better learn to compete with cheap Indian coders
Like Obama said, can’t just wave a wand and make jobs come back. But Trump can and did!!
The fucking balls of these people.
GREAT - back to this shit.
Seeing all the buyer's remorse from people who voted democrat is more entertaining than salt mining the NPCs.
BooHoo
They want them all broke and destroyed until the only answer is UBI
I hear the domestic ammo production industry is growing leaps and bounds. Go figure.
Make black market goods. Booming market coming.
And give up their retirement and benefits. Yeah sure. Sorry about having a highly skilled trade, try something else though!
The harsh sad truth is nobody in the media gives a shit.
They could swap straight over, no new learning needed. Cause magic!!
Try the service industry its boomin
Hahahahaha
No one is hiring right now. Because everywhere is still in retarded lockdown. Fuck off Biden
Fake, right? Right?
This can't be real
Over here with popcorn, waiting for the next wave of media layoffs and closures. 🍿🍿🍿
To all the Libtards who actually voted for the Potato here's a question... How's it feel to know you're the Turkey's That Just Voted For Thanksgiving?" Hahahahahahaha
Haha imagine if Trump said that. Holy shit. Biden is a piece of trash.
"Gonna wave a magic wand" like the village idiot said to President Trump
Find another job, huh. I guess administration couldn't be bothered to create another job. Crazy to expect that after paying taxes. The only upside is keep this going and it's 4 years of the best marketing for Trump.
Anyone have a video?

Holy hell.. they just don't care about anyone other than themselves..
What network was this? Lmao
Yes, pay money to learn how to code. End up working at Starbucks while the tech companies hire Indians on H-1B visas.
Just work under the table and keep your taxes
