To blanket hundreds of acres of our desert in solar panels? Or more fucking windmill construction dotting our landscape that requires a boatload of carbon emissions to truck transfer the massive parts, only to replace them when the fan gets clogged with too many predatory birds? Thicker window replacement for our high rises to save on AC bills? WTF are these green jobs? Because, the way i see it you put a pipeline in the ground once, 6 months later the deer are munching on the new ROW grass, and everyone gets to benefit, economically, and with energy independence using our own resources. Fuck these bought and paid for politician idiots.
On top of solar being inefficient as fuck still and if the Inverter fails, womp womp. Enjoy an entire array down. Also enjoy the fucked PPT on a central inverter.

Yes, and for as fickle as the solar panel setups are, the energy obtained is still routed to a substation generator that is run on good old fashioned oil or gas, no? Sounds like you have really delt with this mess.
Plus these windmills and solar farms are inefficient, only last about a decade, and require huge swaths of land. Green energy is a huge scam. If they were actually serious about transitioning from coal, they would be building more nuclear plants.

good points just want to add that the wiindmills are made from petroleum and are not degradeable, recyclable, and only last for 2 or 3 decades. plus the solare panels are highly toxic and clean disposal/recycling is almost impossible.
