I really don't get why the social justice lunatics haven't correctly called out western migration policies as neocolonialism;
We singlehandedly demolished the innovation power of dozens of economies through a mix of contemptuous outsourcing, mass illegal migration and high-skill labor import.
Outsourcing guts the innovation power of an economy by making medium skill workers bankroll the innovation of other leaders, resulting in stagnant corporate branches that only serve to grow an office thousands of miles away from you and expansion into different nations than your.
Mass immigration is singlehandedly responsible for most countries having their wage growth rate detethered from the economic growth rate, with it pushing down some wages so low you literally can't compete legally anymore.
And high skill labor import is just the most blatant, attrocious form of neocolonialism you could think of. Hey, you know what Nigeria absolutely doesn't need? Doctors, nursus and engineers! I mean, yeah, we are basically assuring their entire education system has its return on investment gutted all but assuring they won't see proper funding anywhere in the next half century, and took the "developers" out of a developing nations while assuring thousands die due to the healthcare costs we purposely inflated to a luxery product! but hey, look at it from the positive side! Apple just got some dumb twat from Kenya who is a natural at microsystem engineering to sign up for a job in the US where he will earn the market bottom rate because he isn't in any position to bargain anyways even if he understood the market rates here :D
Also another thing; imagine HOW MUCH BETTER Mexico would've been off is all those people willing to make a hundred mile trek and go work as an effective slave class JUST for a shot at a better life ACTUALLY used all this energy and impulse to change Mexico?
I mean, from an individual perspective, there shouldn't be a single soul on gods green earth that disagrees with the concept; why wouldn't you want to get the best you can within your capabilities to do so? From a societal perspective, its however utterly untenable.
Its just like here in the EU; everyone loves the idea they can move to another country with minimal administrative hassle. You wanna move to Spain to sit out your retirement? Sure, it will take you like 2 months to get the administrative side in order and you don't even have to renew your residential permit if you just naturalize at the end of your 5 years, and even if you did it would just be a quick visit to the town hall and 25 euros. Everyone however loathes the idea its a 2 way street, and that other people have that exact same privilege. You'll hear some Europhile praising how easy it is for him to just go on vacation in Austria, and the next sentence curse how difficult his work as a construction overseer has become after polish seasonal workers that barely speak english and don't speak the native tongue began to make up most of his workforce and that Romanian's that are renting from him should be evicted because they are living there with trice as much people as they should.
That’s why the Mexican president liked Trump. The promise of a closed US border does two things for Mexico. First, it creates a disincentive for migrant caravans from their south. Second, it keeps their most diligent and adventurous people at home.
yup, supposedly there are entire towns in mexico with no working age men. but there are nice houses built for their fatherless/husbandless families with their money sent home.

It's even more dastardly than that. What happens when a person with IQ 90 moves from a country with average IQ 80 to a country with average IQ 100?
Average IQ decreases in both countries.
Also another thing; imagine HOW MUCH BETTER Mexico would've been off is all those people willing to make a hundred mile trek and go work as an effective slave class JUST for a shot at a better life ACTUALLY used all this energy and impulse to change Mexico?
Mexico would probably be as prosperous as Texas.
Exactly. I moved to the US from another country. That country invested in my education and would have been better off if I stayed there.
