It just seems risky to me just reform the republican party. Donald Trump will be the leader of the republican party for years or even a couple decades to come. Just get people like Liz Cheney and others who voted to impeach Trump on a bogus charge out of there.

75 million voted for Trump. All the Republicans in office won on Trumps coattails. There won't be a split in votes.

I would rather have the third party as painful as it may be in the short term splitting votes. The Patriot Party should have a different mantra/platform than the Republicans. For example, before Trump, the last two Republican presidents got us into two unnecessary wars with Iraq. I was proud of Trump getting us out of the Middle East and not starting any new conflicts.

Do tell me what the Democrats have right now.

This is how democrats are already winning. "Dont do 3rd party or Republicans will lose". Well Republicans dont represent us but marginally better than Democrats. We will be stuck in this uniparty forever if we dont burn down the republican party. We might have to deal with Democrat majority in the short term but we already have that with the uniparty.

If you think in terms of Uniparty we are technically createing a second party to combat the Uniparty.

Furthermore, If Republicans are marginalized then they can no longer blame them for the failures of Democrat policy. May open up even more eyes.

Stupid logic. Everyone bringing stereotypical 3rd party history. Trump sparked a movement. Uniparty is exposed and every Republican in office won off Trumps coattails.

Here is what's gonna happen. Repubs that are trusted will join Trumps party. The Reps that don't will switch sides and primary the Dems. It's their only shot at winning. They know it.

Patriotism automatically loses in the current paradigm, so risk is pretty much a non issue.

Splitting the party, and taking a populist agenda and pushing back on the left using more than half of former Rs and somewhat less than half of former Ds is a majority.

Exactly. 3rd party not a good idea

You are absolutely correct. If we are just going to compete with the Republicans a 3rd party is a mistake. But some how we need to change the minds and nature of the republican party. Get rid of the "RINOs" and get MAGA as the central goal.

Everyone will jump ship from the Republican party. It needs to be destroyed. Everyone I know that is a Republican said they would change in a heartbeat

Yes

Yeah right. Every Republican in office won off Trumps coattails.

Exactly! so why disrupt the several million old person voter base in The GOP? Why do you think killing nursing home people was priority number one for democrats? Same with the vaccine killing old people. They need to kill the strong hold of American values.

We need that base. None of those 40 year republicans are changing from the GOP.

Yes they are and will. All my friends that are Republican and in their 60s are saying they will change. After what the repubs did yo Trump, that party is dead

Democrats killed them for $$ and to help sell the commie lie.

Trumps biggest supporters are that older base. Have you even been to a rally? They love him.
