Those old labels/stereotypes stopped being relevant a long time ago. It was way oversimplified. Reagan, for instance--President of the Actors Union in CA but freely busted essential Unions, like the air traffic controllers, increasing accidents.But foreign policy? "Tear down this wall."
Totally agree but the majority of Americans still see Red v Blue based on social issues when the parties have the same economic platform to screw over the American people. The issue is the politicians campaign on fiery social issues to distract from a unified front to destroy the American middle class.
