WRONG. Entrenched politicians, who call themselves Republicans, allow this to happen. The problem is that Republicans are supposed to represent a reduced government and democrats stand for increased government. That's like two enemies sitting across from one another at a table, and there's a gun on the table. If the democrat is willing to use the gun to kill his enemy, and the Republican isn't, it becomes very difficult for the Republican to win. The republican is left always playing defense.
I think my point is that we need to start playing offense. We need to push for SHRINKING the federal government instead of minimizing its growth. We've been sitting back for decades, meeting the democrats halfway, allowing them to grow the size of government, just a little bit slower than they'd like. Who's the winner there? It's not us. Fuck that shit. Patriot party forever. Shrink the government. Less alphabet agencies. More well informed citizens who see the dangers of big government.
