I forgot what that English dude's name is, but he sounds completely sane as well -- until you hear about the fact that he believes he was captured and molested by extraterrestrials.
Lin Wood probably believes what he's saying. Just as regular Democrat voters truly believe the Democratic Party has their best interests at heart. The strength of someone's belief doesn't make it true.
People can be good people and also Just Plain Wrong.
I hear what you are saying, but i challenge you to apply that logic to yourself as well. Do you really know whether he is right or wrong? There are many substantial questions raised from the evidence hes submitted to the public, let alone what he has seen that we havent yet, and probably cant for many legitimate reasons. I guess what im really asking is, do you think hes insane because his claims are too extraordinary to be believed (i dont think high level pedophilia is that weird, its been documented throughout history), or do you think hes insane because its popular to say so on this site right now?
I care about evidence that can be reviewed with my own eyes, no more, no less. Lin Wood saying something is true means nothing. Lin Wood showing evidence that something is true would mean something, should he actually decide to do that.
Q gets a lot of shit for the weird crap aspect, but the one really good service that Q did that doesn't get enough credit is pointing people toward publicly-available documented evidence that demonstrated how screwed up things were.
I only trust myself to interpret evidence. Too many people see what they want to see.
How do you know you arent seeing what you want to see in your interpretations? How do you know you are only considering objective fact? You dont, so you rely on instinct, faith, etc as much as anyone else. Denying that is no less delusional than blind religious faith. No one knows everything, especially about situations like this, so faith or gut instinct is inevitable. And i agree examination of the evidence and interpreting it is important to the decision making process, but you have to acknowledge its not the totality of it.

That's just silly. The way we know anything in life is by reviewing evidence, creating a conclusion, then constantly testing that conclusion against new evidence. That's the entire basis of the scientific method. It's the exact opposite of "faith".
Blind faith is trusting what someone says with no objective facts. Lin Wood might be right, but without evidence or any references at all that someone can verify, his statements are completely worthless. Literally worth nothing. That's not an indictment of Wood; just the nature of information. Objective facts are the only way to judge the truth of something.
Also note that "truth" isn't just "TRUE" or "FALSE". It's a spectrum of reliability based on the how much evidence and the quality of the evidence.
Honestly, I'm not sure what your point is. You seem to think I'm criticizing Lin Wood and I'm not. I'm sure he believes what he says is true, but that doesn't help anyone if we don't have access to the same information. We can't determine if he's just fooling himself (which happens all the time, to everyone) or if he really knows something factual.

Simon Parkes. Mr. Wood posted one of Simon's videos. That one act broke me of listening to him (Wood).
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're after you all the time.
