No. The government isn't going to be paying those taxes. They're going to push an excise tax.
30% on weapons, 50% on ammo. They SAY it's going to go to 'research on violent crime' and 'victims of gun assaults'.
They're not going to raise your income tax, no.
Excise tax is a sales tax.
I read the bill. It's fucking infuriating.
They would literally be paying that tax to themselves so it doesn't matter at all.
Government would be tax exempt. The people pay all the government's bills. If they tax themselves, the people still pick up the bill.
