To elaborate: My wife and father in law own two restaurants in Seattle. We’ve been in business for 13 years and due to the authoritarian measures put in place by our pathetic loser governor Jay Inslee, we’re now on the verge of filing for bankruptcy. Best case scenario we can sell them for less than half of what they’re actually worth. All of this to “protect” people from a fucking virus that 99% of people recover from. I got covid, so did my wife, so did my father in law, so did my 90 year old grandma with Alzheimer’s, so did a family friend that recently had a liver transplant and is severely overweight.....we all recovered! The exploitation of coronavirus is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen in my life.
Meanwhile the grocery stores are full of hundreds of people, you can sit on an airplane shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of people, you can go to the fucking mall and their food courts are open!! The fact that there are millions of Americans who legitimately think that ANY of this is about public health absolutely blows my mind.
The media and democrats and honestly 75%+ of republicans are truly sick. They will crush you under any circumstance for their own benefit. /rant

It’s one of the most infuriating things I’ve ever experienced. People walk down the empty sidewalk without a human being in sight and still wear masks. They wear masks alone in their cars. My wife has friends that haven’t left their house ONCE since March. No amount of logic and reason can persuade these people to think about covid any other way. They think CNN is “unbiased news”. Millions of Americans are hopelessly ignorant.
Yup. I have family who is sympathetic to them and liberals in general, trying to play peacekeepers. I've grown to vehemently hate the left and any Branch Covidians. They are the most mentally weak, mentally broken, useless people. They support, mostly thru their own ignorance, a political party that is openly talking about putting their opposition into camps. They are putrid people and I have zero sympathy for anything that comes their way, including if we are on separate sides of a civil war.
Sorry if that's harsh but I legitimately hate them now. Ive cut off more people since the covid lockdowns than ever in my life combined. Putrid, useless people.
See, I’ve always been the kind of person that doesn’t give a fuck what you think about politics - I care about how you act and how you treat people. I have a very diverse friend group because I have always been one to find common ground with anyone. It is only very recently that I have come to detest some of these people. I see them on social media calling people like us Nazi’s and it blows my mind. It’s like...how can you call me a Nazi!? Michael Savage was right, liberalism is a mental disorder.
