Gotta give Glenn credit. He is a classical liberal who refused to drink the poison Kool-Aid from the modern day left. He remembers when the left spoke out about the dangers of concentrated power, including at the corporate level. He remembers the left advocated for world peace. He may have spent a summer or two working at Pepe Farms. 😉

He literally is an honest liberal who wants a big social safety net for law-abiding, down-and-out citizens. And I can argue that with him over a cup of coffee after the communists are defeated.

Paul Krugman. Lol. He’s either lying, or stupid. Or both.

Like the rest of ‘em.

Krugman goes on to say that capitol protesters are coward bullies and not as brave as the BLM protesters that stood up to the police brutality during their protests and endured for weeks.

Glenn is the kind of liberal this country used to produce, too bad he moved to Brazil.

The comments speak to the absolute disconnect. They think a standing army taking the Capitol was really anyone's plans when all anyone wanted from that rally was to use public support outside the Capitol to pressure Pence to open the floor to a vote to send back electors based on the wishes of state legislatures who requested fraud be examined. The Netflix crowd only understands the right as a caricature built from circlejerking on plebbit.

He had to resign from the Intercept, which he started, because the board insisted he toe the line about Biden/Trump in an article. He wouldn't. He also was right on board with us about phony Russian interference, phony impeachments, phony election. He sounded like an avid Trump supporter by the end of Trump's first term.

He was one of the few anti-Bush liberals that continued to be critical of Obama when he continued all of Bush's major policies. Him and Matt Taibi.
