The Republican Party has been hijacked for decades by progressive thieves begging for money while saying they are the answer to stop the radical agenda of the left. Then they consistently give us candidates like McCain and Romney who are worse than the left.

They make millions while lecturing us that they know better than we do and say they will be tough but then run and hide when it's time to fight. The rigged elections haven't just favored the dirty dems but also the RINOs because it's always about the money.

Yes a third party would split the vote for possibly a couple election cycles but it would not take long before a third party starts winning seats and if that party actually starts fighting the battles that need to be won, the Republican Party will become irrelevant. The biggest challenge is preventing liars and fakers from gaining power within a new party. This nonsense about third parties never having a chance is nonsense if you go back into our history....we didn't always just have Democrats and Republicans winning elections.

The alternative is the status quo where our votes never count and we end up with the same cucks. All politics is local and that is where a third party can succeed to gain traction. The power is with the states so that should be the focus.

No...the status quo is over....the curtain has been pulled back. People realize there is a uniparty .... so the real Republican Party is available.

Time will tell but I've lived through a lot of disappointment of short-term memory Repubs. Everyone thought Crenshaw was going to be based and we see how that is turning out. On a similar note, doesn't it seem that some of the usual talking heads on the right like Shapiro, Hannity, etc...are less appealing after all this that has happened. We were settling for a watered-down form of conservatism and they seem happy to just report on surface-level junk.

Shapiro is a grifter....at least Hannity has supported GEOTUS....we now know who all the backstabbers are.....

Plus Shapiro's voice....I just can't.

Don't be perplexed. Most people have poor critical thinking skills. I know extremely technologically smart people, but they believe you always have to vote Repub, even if it's mccain, to stop the Dems.

All good things come to an end. After exposing how deep the swamp goes, it it best to just start fresh at this point. It has been too long since there has been any party shakeup in this country anyway.

A legit third party would also pressure the Repubes to get their act together to avoid losing members. Of course we know that anyone that get's their shit together would probably rather be in the new party anyways.

Like the Whig party?

PerDiem [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ha! I think today's Whig party is already lurking around in the gender-neutral bathrooms.

Ok...that was funny. ;-)

There is only one party - Uniparty

Patriot Party, in theory, would be a second party.

There are already third parties-- the constitution party, the libertarian party, etc. A third party will only win at the ballot box with Trump support.

I agree that Trump is the only person right now that could pull it off. The other parties haven't had that kind of leadership or spirit.

I was one who was staunchly against a third party--I saw what happened when Perot ran and we ended up with the Clinton disaster.

However, if GEOTUS does it, I think there's actually a good chance the third party will succeed. Think about it, all the never-Trumpers, RINOS and die-hard dimwits voted against Trump anyway, and he still overwhelmingly won--and with the rapid damage Pedo Joe and the Ho are doing to the economy/Country, a lot of dem sheep (who lose their jobs) will come to the light.

This includes Dan Bongino who is not only railing against a 3rd party, but is pushing the worb out "principled conservative" BS.

He & others continue to ignore the MILLIONS of Indie & Dem Trump supporters.

The issue is that if you split the party you will give Democrats elections for a decade.....it will take longer to spool up a third party than to take the Republicans over and primary the RINOs.

Take over the Party.....given the percentage of Republicans that support the GEOTUS it shouldn’t be difficult.

You can't take over a party that is lost. We will lose elections regardless if the candidate is a Republican or Democrat...that is the point!

Seems like a very emotional response...lol

Just about every conservative influencer....talking head.....disagrees.

Start a Party from scratch? Where is the tea party?

1
PerDiem [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

The tea party had no leadership and they got crucified in the media and by both establishment parties very quickly. Ever wonder why? It's because they are scared of losing their party. I was hopeful that the Tea Party was going to make a difference but they didn't have the right guidance.

And I don't make emotional responses...that's what liberals do.

1
Spongebob1808 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lol....you called yourself a liberal?

Why do you think a third party would be any different? You summed it up perfectly...

” tea party had no leadership and they got crucified in the media and by both establishment parties very quickly. Ever wonder why? It's because they are scared of losing their party. I was hopeful that the Tea Party was going to make a difference but they didn't have the right guidance.”

So who is your leader? GEOTUS? If he says third party, I’m in.....but otherwise we can take over the Republican Party.

1
PerDiem [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not sure how you read that I called myself a liberal but ok. Yes I absolutely mean that Trump has a golden opportunity to start a party because of his leadership and world-wide popularity.

Spongebob1808 1 point ago +1 / -0

I was kidding ...never mind. If GEOTUS says “go” ...I will agree, but right now with 97% popularity in the Republican Party, with the place....it seems like starting over would be worse.
