The leaders of the right are busy having debate practice while leftists are making lists and preventing conservatives from traveling and banking and planning gun confiscations. Concentration camps could absolutely happen.
How many leaders do we need? All we have to do is pay attention, the first step they will take will be to start the “truth” hearings to attack various conservative leaders. Second, will be the attack on gun rights. That will be the point when you have to make your choice on wether to run or stand your ground. Then they will either back off or escalate.
We are here supporting each other reminding each other we are not alone. When the time comes to enter the field leaders will make themselves apparent.
We know the attack on gun rights is coming. Honestly I'm surprised they haven't moved on it already considering the furious pace they've taken right out of the gate. The odds are that they won't just straight up ban them though - they'll mandate registration and impose onerous taxes on acquisition of guns and ammo to keep the people from arming up any further.
Then they'll require every FFL dealer to turn over their customer records so they can identify everyone who owns a gun and hasn't registered them. Since failure to register your gun will be a felony, they'll visit everyone they suspect of having unregistered firearms and search your home. If they find one, you'll be arrested and it'll be cheered as "stopping a potential domestic terrorist".
They won't visit everyone at the same time. They'll spread it out enough that they can show up with overwhelming force at everyone's home. Nobody will come to our aid either, because they don't want to be next and hope that they'll be eaten last.
They'll get our guns because the police and the military are not on our side. If they come for yours, you might as well go out guns blazing cause if you cuck at that point they know you will when they come to round you up for the boxcars.
Well I'm an optimist for the future but a pessimist in preparations.
The taxes we've all heard of before and up till now they've not been implemented to my knowledge. I would hope that would immediately come up in court because there's no difference in gun/ammo tax and a poll tax which a poll tax was found unconstitutional. Now FFL dealers only need to hold their records 20 years so I know for my part I haven't bought a gun from a dealer since 2000 and I did buy one privately more recently. So that said on my part I probably wouldn't even show up on a database. That is of little comfort since if someone had already digitized the document it's there forever barring the ATF being bound by the same 20 year rule. So you bring up registration which is possible as 6 states have such programs of various levels from all to just handgun. You say the cops and military are compromised and I don't believe that to be totally true, all the officers I know are very pro-2A.
Given your scenario the first confiscations would make news and that would set up for a confrontation. All the local PD I know would never take part so it is plausible they would leak info or point out where they stage and office. Then you have the 2nd round that does not go as planned whatsoever. Then instead of being offensive they now have to contend with an armed populace that will not give up their weapons easily. So now the officers will rely on MS-Liars to do their dirty work. It will rely on cutting conservatives off from communicating but there are ways around that. For actual decades there are groups that have been waiting for this shoe to drop and when it does I cannot even fathom what the reaction would be. At least I'm not one to speculate to give this website a bad name or run afoul of the mods.
