Here's a cool story for you about Laura Branigan. When I was a kid I lived in a foreign country. Laura Branigan was coming in concert, and my sister was friends with the son of the arena owner (I was about 12 or so). He got us tickets for the front row. Anyways the concert was awesome, and while there I shouted "I love you Laura!" She smiled at me and waved. Then the song "Forever Young" came on and she started singing it, As she was singing it she knelt down at the front of the stage and waved a "come here" index finger at me twice. I walked over and she told me to sing the chorus in to the microphone! Holy crap was I nervous. Anyways I sang it as best I could (with a little wobble in the middle from anxiety) and finished up. She knelt down lower, kissed me on the cheek, and thanked me. I've always held her in high regard for doing that and was sad to hear she had died so prematurely. She seemed like a genuinely nice person. To hear she was conservative as well, just further justifies my admiration for her.
I was on a cloud for about 3 hours after that concert. As for PC entertainment, people will eventually rebel against it. Look at what's happening on alternative media, social media, and entertainment. Some of the most popular things/people are the ones that refuse to be PC. It's just a matter of if we can resist the totalitarian media/tech/Hollywood long enough to foment the freedom counter culture or if they'll manage to cut us off at the knees with cancel culture/de-platforming /destroying alternatives.
Probably second to YMCA as a prime meme song amongst MAGA. Sorry for your lost!

I never got the significance of this song. Even after reading the lyrics. If somebody could explain it to me I'd be greatful.

I laughed, but I still don't get it. It seems it was significant before that video.

That's a badass story. I'm a musician too, even though the twits have cancelled everything, here's hope for the future!!
