I truly, truly believe we'll see them again. Lots of people who have experienced near death have reported that animals ARE in heaven waiting for us. For me, it wouldn't be heaven without them.
It hurts people on our side more when things like this happens because we cherish life and realize it’s beautiful. Something that liberals and communists are not able to do. The only thing beautiful in their eyes is the state.

When my dog was pronounced dead at the vet, I cried so loud and hard in the room with my dad and husband that I made every employee and the people in the waiting room start sobbing. When I finally was able to leave, two strangers clutching their animals and crying, stood up to hug me. My dog died of a stroke recovering from a surgery he didn’t need because he was misdiagnosed with cancer he didn’t have. Worst day ever. Would never wish that feeling in anyone. I’m sorry you’re feeling that loss.
I recently lost my best friend too. I watched him die, which has not been easy on me. That was hard enough, but with also watching my country die, these have not been happy times.
I had to put down a 2 yr old GSD and my 16 yr old Husky Wolf Hybrid. The 2 yr old was way harder for some reason but I think it is just because I didn't have that long with him. Anyway, sorry for you loss.
I'm so sorry. Losing a beloved dog is awful, they're always such a wonderful part of our lives and families. Just try to hang onto the fact that dogs love us as much as we love them, and he'd want you to keep on keeping on.

Even my uber-science atheist ex thinks his lil dog has the actual spirit of our Dane from 2000.

I put down our adopted Beagle in December. We got him shortly before my mom passed in 2017. He was a source of comfort for me. It's never easy to put them down. Prayers.

Sorry man. They hurt more than losing people sometimes. Just had to do that in Nov the day after my bday. Wish they could stay with us forever.
I had more difficulty dealing with the death of my 17 year old dog that I had with the death of my parents, and I loved my parents.
