Because they're demonic. The devil runs their show, he provides the footsoldiers. The devil is in the details. In reality he has no choice. Cast out from heaven taking a third of the angels with him, he's a rebel and not the good kind. The worst. He intends to take as many souls with him as he can. It is his eternal purpose. UNTIL he is cast down to the depths of hell for eternity in the FINAL BATTLE.
But in the end the devil and all those who serve him are nothing more than moths drawn to a flame. They all come to light, they all have a limited amount of time left. They know it. This is an actual spiritual war as we speak.
Did you ever think a guy like Trump would be president, facing the DS 4 1/2 years in. Standing there taking about 'Jesus, our LORD AND SAVIOR being born in a manger'? I didn't and I grew up in churches. Yet from the way this man has changed in four years. Keeping his best attributes and doing his best to let God work through him. What Trump's doing is gods work. What he did is gods work. If we are a country under God that grants us rights. For the Lord has plans to prosper us. He means well for all of his people. God wants the american economy to thrive he wants us to be a beacon for the world.... But then he gave us Biden.
