No lie. Lifting has been life-changing for me. I was a short, fuccboi asian guy and always thought lifting was for meatheads but once I started I absolutely loved it. It’s the greatest form of self-therapy... almost like prayer but in a physical expression.
I train MMA 3 times a week and I started it as a form of therapy, very similar end result. Same endorphin rush after every session. I've lifted before, just didn't find it as engaging. I think it's important to have a physical outlet and should be something you enjoy so you keep at it whether it's lifting, martial arts, biking, climbing, swimming, whatever it is.
