Only edgy tryhards in metal TRULY are about satanism and indulgence in bullshit

Fucking Slayer frontman, SLAYER, is a devout catholic, saying it's all bullshit for the image

Truly good metal bands tackle politics and life problems in general

So what's your take on Megadeth for example? Dave Mustaine always was about politics and impending totalitarianism and this madlad predicted many things happening/about to happen in modern world, trying to warn people about many things.

Yes, he had short stint with satanism and drugs few decades ago but denounced it and refuses to play particular songs from this period. Devout christian now.

There are many more bands out there like them. Tackling politics, history, warning about danger of drugs and self indulgence.

Yes there is some bullshit in metal that youth of today listens to but those are fags going through a phase and abandon it in the end. People who sticked with metal beyond their rebellious youth basically laugh such garbage bands out of town.

But I will agree with hip-hop/rap though. This genre is oversaturated with drugged out joggers all playing rich gangsters while being all in debt.

Drugs, gangs, sex, money. I don’t think there’s a single hip hop rap song today that doesn’t cover those topics in some for or fashion. Even the artists I considered “good” mainly because of their lyrical talent not necessarily their content like Juice WRLD talked about drugs constantly. But then if you go over to the “Christian” rappers the popular ones like Lecrae are going woke now. (Lecrae campaigned for Raphael Warnock). It’s all the same now. Cookie cutter regurgitated talentless trash. They write one verse and the rest of the song is the hook.

I'd consider megadeth one of the older metal bands, not one of the newer ones.

Glenn Tipton and Rob Halford used to go to church every sunday on tour in the 80s. Don't forget Stryper either. If you'd prefer a real metal band try Manowar for based music since they display the American flag prominently while in europe. Ross the Boss is a huge Trump supporter among other things. Met him and his band once had em sign a gibson explorer.
