Antifa has been doing it for the past year... again, unreported

It wouldn't be a shame, it would be a tradedy for the communities impacted by a derailment. We don't need to hijack the rhetoric of the opposition to win.

Not that I would ever ever ever ever EVER take part in such a thing, but there's a way to block the tracks and let the train know WELL IN ADVANCE so it can come to a complete stop before doing any damage.

It's like the difference between placing a vehicle road block IMMEDIATELY after a blind corner or placing it just right in broad daylight on a straightaway.

You seem to forget, smelly leftist patsies in Canada merely block (not sabotage) the rails too. And nobody does jack shit about it.

talk about a "soft target"

I was just thinking that. That's some isolated and vulnerable critical infrastructure right there. A derailment would be terrible PR.

Good thing trains never have accidents. It'd be a shame if all that oil spilled into our beautiful environment

They used to all the time. I'm sure it didn't stop happening, I just haven't heard about it

Fuckin' minecraft, man. Best way to destroy railroads

3
Bandanna1 3 points ago +3 / -0

In minecraft, to make TNT you need to use gunpowder and sand. To destroy a railroad you only need to put the TNT near the railroad, tap the TNT block and step back.

The TNT block will flash a few times before exploding a 5-7 block radius of blocks, destroying the railroad it was placed next to.

In minecraft, a TNT block can be lit simultaneously by connecting multiple TNT blocks together with lines of redstone and then triggered by a common switch.

This makes demolition of large projects in survival mode in minecraft very efficient as you do not many players or much time to break the project down.

For anyone curious, BNSF is - indeed - owned by Berkshire Hathaway

https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/15/business/berkshire-hathaway-bnsf-female-ceo-trnd/index.html

Indeed - Buffet owns Berkshire Hathaway

https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/16/investing/warren-buffett-berkshire-hathaway-drug-stocks/index.html

BNSF indeed ships at least 90 million barrels of oil specifically from the Bakken oil fields (the one in question), and had invested billions to increase their ability to ship oil in 2012

https://billingsgazette.com/business/features/bnsf-ceo-says-oil-by-rail-hauling-will-contnue-even-with-keystone-xl-pipeline/article_ec9d9fd9-fb75-5839-b289-7b3b90e93d1c.html

I can't find the price per barrel for shipping, though. Here's the pricing page, but you need a login

https://www.bnsf.com/ship-with-bnsf/pricing-and-tools/index.page

This site says shipping costs $10-15 per barrel, but shipping by pipeline would be about $5, 1/3rd the cost.

https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=7270

That means the pipeline could potentially save the economy (but hurt Buffet) by at least $1 billion each year.

I'm going to start archiving these sites and and packeting the context of these posts and comments together, then putting it all on like literally a word doc in its own file and saving it to a USB

Isn't it called, main "stream" media?

I must debunk this. This is only partially true Canadian National and Canadian Pacific also own tracks into and out of western Canada. Canadian National has tracks from the oil fields to the gulf coast refinery and Canadian Pacific has tracks from the oil fields to east coast refinerys.

As a worker in the industry, the majority of workers are Trump supporters and don't need anymore problems than what is already given to us by management.

Lol handshake account gtfo

The "Trump supporting workers" should stop earning money for Buffet then huh.

main street media

Was that intentional or is the person who made this just an idiot?

2
Anon331717 2 points ago +2 / -0

There is about 7 miles of exactly those sitting on tracks near me. Been there a long time now.

2
usku1976 2 points ago +2 / -0

CN rail owns the lines to most of the refineries on the east coast. BNSF doesn’t run in Alberta.

This will largely benefit CN Rail, a Canadian company which he had to sell his shares in when he bought BNSF.

One thing though id be unsure about. Obama basically got out of the way from the pipeline stuff as well as fracking while he was in office. that was basically the best thing he did. got out of the way of the natural gas sector.
