To get rid of the centralized power Networks such as Facebook,Twitter, etc where one guy can arbitrarily at any time, for any reason he makes up, kick you off the network and delete your account and all its data.

In principal that would be great, but you know as well as I do, that consolidation and monopoly always wins. Look at peer to peer, look at the internet, look at the banks, read history. All and I mean ALL of the levers of power eventually come under the thumb of an elite few. The system is designed this way. Keep us serfs under control at all cost.

Its a cycle.

The dictatorships might consolidate power but they always fall apart eventually.

Dorsey and Zuckerberg really screwed themselves at Twitter and Facebook with their overreaching. They momentum against them is really strong now.

If its strong enough this decentralization can become a permanent part of the fabric of the internet and we would not have to start from scratch each time.

In 25 years there will be a whole new generation without any memories of the election of 2020 and they will not see any problems with centralized networks unless somebody teaches them really well.
