Well my wife is one of the big dogs in student loan collections that contracts with DOE. They just extended the CARES ACT which postponed all collection of outstanding debt til Sept. That is huge news, almost 2 yrs of no collecting. Their company is making cuts for the 3rd time. 500 employees down to like 50 now. They may have destroyed these companies and their worker's careers. The way they are not collecting and knowingly destroying the companies that collect it for them, makes me almost believe in NESARA/GESARA.
I feel so bad for her company. Maybe they shouldn't be allowed to set up booths at high schools and go hard on used car salesman tactics to convince a 17 year old, without an adult in site, to "not destroy their future and go to college." And the booth set up next to the loan table was the Mastercard table that would also, give cards with the cool mascot of your University and a $30k limit to a 17 whit trash kid, me.
I was stupid, 30+ years ago I walked past the booth and the guy got me to sit down and said I could get tons of free money--a few seconds prior, I had no intention of going to college, I was a solid B- to C student. My parents were poor Polish immigrants and so I was too. For a skilled salesman, selling a poor kid on a future with a free college degree and a shiny new credit card is shooting fish in a barrel. Kids will dream, especially if they don't know how the system works.
When I got home and told my dad they will give me Pell Grants to pay for "most" of college, and free loans to pay for the rest, dad shrugged and thought I got a sort of scholarship and congratulated me. So did I. What the fuck did I know about the world?

No you are wrong. This company is just a collection company that collects for the govt. No different than a company that collects when you don't pay your car, credit cards, or house.
I agree with you about student loan debt. I personally did not get myself into debt and take loans out I could not afford.
I was raised by a single mother with 5 kids and knew how to do without.
