I was talking about this the other day to my boss, as I'm going through college myself. I chose to start at a community college and am almost finished working towards a degree. Community college is basically free already. If you qualify for a pell grant then there basically is no cost at all. It's what they don't tell you that a majority of the loans people take out are not necessarily needed. Now I took out some additional loans for college so I could be able to survive the bullshit shutdowns, and I will be able to pay them back. Just from my perspective.
