I still think a third party is a bad idea.. It WILL fracture the Republicans and NEVER have enough weight to vote out Democrats with their illegals and fraud

Tell that to Nigel Farage. I think right now is the absolute perfect time to do it.

Edit: actually studied third parties in college.

ask Theodore Roosevelt how that worked out in 1912

I’m aware of the Progressive Party of 1912.

My point is that Nigel Farage and the Brexit party is recent proof (within less than 100 years) that traditional third party thoughts are not the same in today’s technological world. Hell even Ross Perot could have likely won in today’s world. Social media has given a huge voice to third parties with sufficient following that hasn’t existed in our worlds history.

Trump is the Republican Party now. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It’s the truth. If he can utilize social media well to get his message out, which is a stretch due to the complete and total censoring of him by these companies, then he has the backing to completely replace the Republican Party, plus he would be free to take on traditionally non-Republican views like de-scheduling marijuana, true criminal justice reform, etc.

I agree that fast and instant information can help reach people that are easily manipulated.. But when you own the voices and medium you can do it fast and stomp out reason

I think it works just like the Justice Democrats. Remember them. The original plan was not to have a third-party that competed against the democrats, but to have a party that scared the democrats into incorporating their beliefs as a part of main-party platform.

The strategy was not a horrible one and had a significant effect of the democrat party, but it ultimately died down due to a lack of funding. Trump has the support and funding to take the strategy all the way.

The goal is not to actually form a third party, it is to force the republican party to have to negotiate with us, so that they don't lose all their power. It is not to split the vote, but rather to scare them into line.

I realize that.. But who's going to win that game of chicken?
