I agree with OP. But it is weird, whenever I make a post talking about the instrumental role of patriotic political violence in the founding of this country (picking off red coats as they were attempting to disarm us at Lexington and Concord, the Boston Tea Party, etc.), and point out that doing such things today would be both patriotic, justified, and legitimate, I get maybe 3 upvotes.
I am starting to suspect this site is just an algorithm.
Pointing out the truth of our history should be scary. The 2nd amendment is to keep the government afraid of its citizens. It was and is the purpose.
