It seems likely he intends to try to monetize his domain investment. But at the same time at least he put up a splash page redirecting people here!

That time came and passed.... They don't even run ads... something NOT a lot of top 500 domains do.

Plus they are not talking donations at all... not even for maintenance of the back end...
