People were still having problems over a year after release, though. Sig is on like the 5th iteration of the striker, which I admit has finally fixed the issues. But damn. It's tough to know what revision of the gun you're buying when you get one new.
It's a big reason why I haven't bought a p320 yet. I really really really like the p320 platform - i love its features and I looooove shooting it. I almost picked up a couple used ones and one new one, but all of them were re-worked at the factory for drop safety and had a big ass unfinished cut in the inside of the slide.
I went with a Hellcat so I could have an optic out of the box, and also because the Hellcat doesn't have the reliability issues. It did 10k rounds the week it got release, whereas the p365 couldn't even get through a magazine without FTRTB issues when it was released. Also HS Produkt makes great stuff in general.
Ive got over 3k through my 365(june 18 date). Does drag on primer but so far so good. Made in the USA and sig has great service. Springfield makes nice reliable guns, but I just can't get around them using an iconic American name to market a Croatian made pistol
My 365XL has run smoothly for a couple thousand rounds so far; I think I got one with the refined striker. And yeah, having an optic ready slide is nice.
The p365 was released on Jan 8, 2018. The p365 XL was released in June of 2019.
Besides being slightly larger and thus eliminating the underlying problem that the p365 had of just flat out being a very small striker pistol, it also had 1.5 years of the public doing R&D for Sig with the p365 for them to iron out all the issues. People were buying newly produced p365s in April, 2019, however, and still having the striker breaking issues - over a year after introduced,
And yeah, the XL is how you get an optic cut from the factory. The hellcat is p365 sized but has an OSP option. It doesn't, as of yet at least, have an "XL" version or the modularity of the p365 platform, either.
Shot my grandfather in laws when they first came out then went and got mine. Father in law bought one as well. We carry at church and all have compatible guns and magazines.
I enjoy the reliability and I shoot it very very well. Knowing what I know now I would have gotten something with more capacity. That’s why I bought the +2 magazine extensions. The 43x looks awesome! But I would have gone with a 26 if I were to do it all over again. I have nightmares about running out of ammo lol
I love my lights haha. HIGHLY recommend lumintop lights. Cheap and last! I’ve used the aaa version. The aa version and now the double aa version (its longer)
I used to hate glocks... but in recent years I came to accept them, not because I wanted to, but because they're everywhere... actually started to like 'em, mainly the 17 and 19
Lol imagine writing a whole article on a dangerous ideology that probably has a thousand members and doesn't seem to do anything dangerous so that your only example is a mentally ill person shooting people in a Walmart. Apparently more people are shot in a Chicago weekend than "white supremacists" kill in two decades.
Are you mad because everyone is ignoring you? Imagine, being such a loser that all you have to do on a sunday is seek attention from people you claim to disagree with.
Everyday is. Always was. Always will be!
Chucky Schumer will accuse this photo of inciting an erection.
This "the Incited Erection" will stay hard for many a long month!
yes, he has just ordered the feds to zero in on the latitude/long points hidden within the pixels.
I love my glock 43!!
Its OK to have a white holster.
White holsters matter!
What went in to deciding on a single stack glock over something like a Hellcat or 365?
To be fair 365 has reliability issues
It definitely did, though I think Sig redesigned the striker to fix the main issue (primer smears and broken strikers).
Oh ok thats good
This^ problems in initial release were quickly remedied.

If you can pick up a 320. I love that gun.
I see it chambered in 357, 40 s&w and 45 acp. Any recommendations? I guess availability might be the bigger issue.

Yep. Problem has been fixed. I have mine on my hip now.
Sig seems to have issues when a new platform is released, and then they fix it after a couple years.
Those probably didn't exist when they bought this.

Hey, I carry 15 +1 and have the same nightmare.
Spyderco knives for the win. Get a yojimbo 2 for your next one. You can thank me later
Alphabet agency feds: "WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN!"
G43? Mags?
Standard mag with +2 extensions
Man I really miss my G43. It's too bad I lost it, along with all my other guns, in a tragic boating accident.
43 gang in the house.
The joys of Arizona ccw. Valid in Arizona and 38 other states.
0/10. Is not a cat gun 👎🏻
PRICES GOING UP AND UP....BIDEN IS GOING TO IMPOSE A VERY HIGH TAX ON GUNS AND AMMO....STAY LOCKED AND LOADED
You should check out the sidecar holster from Trex arms!
That light has seen some shit
I love my lights haha. HIGHLY recommend lumintop lights. Cheap and last! I’ve used the aaa version. The aa version and now the double aa version (its longer)
I love my LightTuck holsters. If you carry AIWB, definitely get the Vedder tall claw, and also consider a wedge as well.
EXERCISE THAT RIGHT!
I have the manix but changed to a dragonfly for EDC
Never leave home without a pistol, flashlight and fighting blade.
I like the Spyderco. Para 3?
Nice. I like spyderco a lot. What’s that glock chambered in?
Looks like a g43, which is 9mm single stack Glock.
Nice Spyderco!!
I still prefer leather but that is a nice holster.
Damn and here I was carrying a 34 before I fell off my boat last summer and lost it.
I used to hate glocks... but in recent years I came to accept them, not because I wanted to, but because they're everywhere... actually started to like 'em, mainly the 17 and 19
Should've just got a 43x
I’ve had this one for a few years now. Got it shorty after they came out. I would have gotten a 43x if I was in the market now. Or a 26
G43 is still excellent but yes 43x is better
