I was at the grocery store today, and I had the following encounters with strangers who got angry with me for perceived failure to obey their personal beliefs about the coronavirus.
Incident 1 - I walked over to a shelf to pick up cheese. A woman got angry because she thought I was disobeying social distancing.
Her: “That’s not six feet!”
I ignore her and walk back to my cart, assuming that now that I’m further from her she will no longer be irritated. But no:
Her: “Guess you never learned arithmetic in school.”
Me: “Don’t worry, I have a math degree and can do it just fine.”
Her: (passive aggressive grumbling)
Incident two took place OUTSIDE the store. A man got angry that wasn’t wearing a mask outside.
Him: “How about wearing a mask?!”
Me: “Nah.”
Him: “Nah?!”
I ignored him and walked to my car. It disgusts me that so many people think that they can force their beliefs on others because of their feelings about the Wuhan Coronavirus. Anybody else got stories to share of encounters with mask fascists?

Exactly. Mask cultists always think everyone who doesn’t obey their orthodoxy is stupid. Now that I think about it, I might have offended her even more if I had told her I have an economics degree (which was my primary degree in college, math classes were secondary because I found it to be an interesting field of study). Leftists hate economics. CS was a field I wish I had taken classes in. Really interesting stuff.
Never too late to pick up a book or two to learn some cool algorithms! Hell, just go to github and look for some Python representations of cool algorithms.
