My father said "you can pick your friends but not your family". The only family I talk to are my one sibling and my mother. I wouldn't have picked ANY of the others to be friends with so why would I want to associate with them just because they have common genetics. That's almost like being as one with people JUST because they have the same skin colour. Life is too short to put up with stupid people and I have too much to do.
