I'll add to that: Even stopped driving all of our cars and switched our energy system to windmills and instituted economy measures by shuttering power from 11pm to 6am. We'd still be polluting a massive amount because all of the consumer goods we are expected to buy are ferried over the ocean on massive super tankers that output as much CO2 in one year as 50 million cars and there are about 90 running at all times.
In Texas, they literally fish up crawdads, ship them over to China to flash freeze them and then ship them back to Texas to sell them.
You couldn't be carbon neutral even if you wanted too.
