I am not sure what purpose this serves now.

And let me tell you. Stephanopoulos knows this already. They all know it was rigged.

Does Rand Paul seriously think they don't know? Seriously. Does Rand Paul seriously think that these people who openly lied about Trump for four years don't know they are being dishonest about Tue election too?

And if Rand Paul DOES know that they know bit still does this fake debate then that means Rand Paul is openly participating in a faked debate and that's means he is swamp deep state too.

So either Rand Paul is stupid or deep state.

No other conclusion possible.

They may have delayed enough to make sure Biden made it to inauguration before any really legal challenge to the results were heard out in court, but that doesn't mean nothing can be done about it.

I get why people dislike Paul, and think this is nothing but theater. However I think the reality is there was never enough votes in congress to rectify the fraud, and as a congressman he has no control over investigations or courts. He's taking a different approach then the more ballsy senator and House members who openly reject the results, but that doesn't mean he's backing down. He is 1 of the few who are actually being rational about this and essentially saying there are red flags we need to look into before we act as though 1 side is right and the other are liars. We need to actually sort out what happened and why it happened because election laws aren't meant to be optional or changed right before or even while counting for the election was still on going. George tried to set him up by framing it as though your either a liar who says the election was stolen or you say there is no evidence of fraud (while also failing to use any 1 investigation to back up that there was no fraud), what Paul did was call out George on this nonsense and correctly pointed out that we haven't had genuine investigations of the instances what appears to be blatant fraud get heard in the courts on the evedince itself and until we do "journalists" shouldn't be demanding the person they interview declare that no fraud took place.

Paul has his faults, 1 of which is he seems to genuinely want to take a rational open minded approach to everything even when it's clear the people going after him have no qualms about lying and demeaning. I don't think that mentality is actually a fault, but that approach in this situation isn't likely to move the needle in either direction.

Paul has decided he will act according to what he sees as a level headed reasonable approach and he knows that the only way to get Democrats to hear his point of view is to go on a show like this. You could say he's naive I suppose, or that he doesn't have the backbone needed to risk retaltion for choosing 1 side or the other, but I'd say calling him deep state or stupid is a bit hard in this situation
