Any recommendations for body armor?

IMO, you’re gonna want something that’ll stop m855 green tip at a minimum, just cause it’s so common. As a bonus most level III+ plates will stop M80/.308 as well. Stopping the incoming round isn’t the hard part, it’s preventing the energy it’s carrying from killing you.

There’s hundreds of brands out there that range in price from about $100 to $1K plus. For my money (and my family) I got hesco 3810’s. M855/M80 rated, multi curve, light weight. About 500 bucks each depending on size and cut.

For my LARPing I have a pair of Hesco U210’s. Same protection. A little lighter and thinner. About 700 each.

Pick a carrier appropriate for your needs and size.

Profit.

I also have Hesco 3810's, they are the best plate on the market for CONUS imho. I feel LIV totally unnecessary as AP 3006 exists a ton has been sold to the civilian market as surplus, but it really just isn't that common of a round.
