Let me be clear in saying one thing, a third party cannot win the presidency... not right now at least. Splitting the votes, even if we get 90%, can be a disaster electoral college wise.

But a third party is a fantastic idea if your goal is not to win the presidency but take control of an allied party and propel your station of power. This was the original intention of the Justice Democrats movement. The goal was to align a voter base in such a way that it would be a threat to the democrat establishment and they could force some of their issues to the forefront.

The Justice Democrats, though failed, which doesn't look very good for us. The Establishment Democrats did just enough to appease them and get their guy in power and in the coming occupation, they are intent of getting rid of them as their instability threatens their power.

Why did the Justice Democrats fail and can we repeat their strategy while correcting their failures? The Justice Democrats failed because they were ravenous and highly insulated, instead of trying to incorporate outsiders or get sponsors on their side, they stuck to their guns and morals on hating all things not communist. For this reason, they lacked funding and a message that could be forced through to common people. They also lacked good and intelligent leadership: Bernie was spineless and the rest were really dumb.

So, let's try the following edits to their plan with a third party:

  1. Incorporate outsiders so long as they agree to a few fundamental tenets, in this case: election security, freedom of speech, cracking down on big tech monopolies, and not being a cuck. Being insulated and forcing people that would otherwise roll with us to agree with every little thing we do and attacking them for disagreeing would be a bad message.
  2. Do effective fund-raising and try and get sponsors on our side. Try to be a populist party.

Would a "virtual" Populist Party that operates via dual party memberships, like dual citizenships, work?

That would allow PPs to be Primary contenders of either Dems or Reps. Go after them all, Primary them all, gain as many seats as possible. Then Vote as a block, the PP block.

That way you don't need to take the time and effort to register as a new party in all states, you can attack ALL the corrupt in both Parties.

Thou doth protest too much, methinks...

A third-party driven by President Donald J. Trump's ideology with President Donald J. Trump's support can CERTAINLY win a general election and quite easily because it would immediately draw voters, money and support AWAY from the Republican party, and even some from the Democrat party, just as President Donald J. Trump drew voters away from the ELITE Republicans.

Seems to me that is what many elite Republicans are desperately afraid of.

Also seems to me like YOU may be one of those elite Republicans desperate to minimize and snub this great idea of a third-party to replace the Republicans.

No, we GUT the GOP by taking all their America and Americans First legislators, their contacts, money, and voters. We leave them and their charter, ideology, and platform behind and enact OUR own platform to be followed or OUR candidate loses our support IMMEDIATELY according to our own rules. We make it so that we DON'T have to worry about infiltrators from other parties. We learn from the Republican's (and Blue Dog Kennedy Democrat's) mistakes. And do you REALLY think a MAGA candidate can't win, even against an Incumbent Democrat?

IMHO I believe that President Trump has firmly changed that dynamic and his running on a "Patriot" party platform would have the effect of drawing 74+ MILLION to such a party making it exceedingly competitive. Primaries only choose the person to represent a particular party. It only affects a given party. It is the GENERAL election that counts. And ballot access for party candidates is not that onerous as evidenced by my state of NC last ballot which reflected the following choices for president.

TRUMP, DONALD J - REPUBLICAN PARTY

BIDEN, JOSEPH R - DEMOCRAT PARTY

BLANKENSHIP, DON - CONSTITUTION PARTY

HAWKINS, HOWIE - GREEN PARTY

JORGENSEN, JO - LIBERTARIAN PARTY

President Trump didn't get votes because he was a "Republican". President Trump got votes because he was Donald J. Trump. And now that he's shown all of us the way I think that a Patriot party would quickly become highly competitive AND serve to replace the Republican party as one of the top contending parties in as little as a year. President Trump has clearly proved that an American First, Anit-socialist/communist, oil/gas/energy independent, reduced regulation/red tape platform WORKS to improve the American economy for Americans. Such a Patriot party platform would also serve to ensure that there'd be no Mitch McConnellesque, John McCainesque backstabbing majority/minority/legislative leaders as they'd be confined to the planks of the Patriot party or immediately lose party support (contacts, media access, MONEY) under party rules and policies if they're correctly established. Rinos would be hard-pressed to infiltrate now as they've been completely exposed at this point. And measures could be taken within a Patriot party charter/rules/regulations to make sure that such infiltrations don't occur like they obviously have in the Republican party. I just think that the idea of a Patriot party's time has come.

Keep in mind that every single Trump voter (and yes, some Democrat voters) who switch from the Republican party to a Patriot party takes money out of Republican coffers and puts it into the Patriot party coffers. That is an irrefutable FACT!
