Why?

People banking with Trump would be protected from political reprisals, at least internally

There would still be efforts to try to find out who banks with Trump and punish them. Of course, that would enable class actions to punish them for 'conspiracy against rights' and 'intimidation of voters'.

There would be retailers who refuse anything Trump.

But Trump being in charge of the bank AND the processor would mean information security against reprisal.

They probably would never allow Trump access to ATMs or direct cash with this system

Trump's bank could issue credit cards and payment systems

It would be an uphill battle to get this payment system into retailers, but he could do it.

Ally bank started online. They may still be ONLY online (not sure). Following their model, Trump could do this and launch this in 6 months with a team of lawyers and financial analysts whom I'm sure he could easily get as long as he could protect their privacy.
