Who’s to say you would have to vote for her. For (ex.) suppose she’s the leader of the opposing party. That’s the common ground to look for, an opposition you can actually debate or negotiate with.

Why would I want to negotiate with her, or anyone with those views? I am opposed to pretty much all of them.
