Unrelated, but if you want to keep CNNLOL etc. off of your search results on youtube, use this extension called de-mainstream youtube to purge their channels from your search results so you can see individual content creators again and not corporate media shills.
nitter gets rate-limited if too many people use the same link due to Twitter's API, which is likely why. For similar reasons, the website can't screenshot links directly either.
Use Nitter Redirect, a browser extension to redirect every Twitter link to a Nitter instance of your choice.
