Well look at it this way. Should you try and reform the public school system that can't even teach basic math and reading to kids? A system that's designed to teach obedience to children? A system that enrichs bureaucrats and public worker unions?
Or do you instead bypass all that crap, homeschool your kids and rub their successes in the noses of the public schooling advocates whose approach clearly doesn't work?
I'm not sure how you expect to fight the information war by never leaving base and never engaging the enemy.
