It's not always quick and easy to download, upload, screenshot and give all context of a tweet. Also, Nitter is constantly on the fritz. I find the people saying this shit aren't usually the people spending 10 hours a day adding information to this site.
Not to mention, why aren't there calls for this for Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and others? The OP literally posts Youtube vid links all day... Youtube is doing just as much deplatforming as Twitter is...

I think people overestimate what Twitter and the others get from our meager levels of activity. The fact is that most of us aren't even particularly active on these platforms as it is, so losing us isn't really going to affect the real problem, which is the leftist millenial/Gen Z base.
