That's what I had to specify to the triggered snowflakes on FB about this. They didn't understand how they weren't facing legal challenges by refusing sales to commies. I probably didn't make a dent, but I described how one of the only legal protections that seems to be absolute for gun shops, even incentivized, is their case-by-case discretion and specifically their ability to refuse to sell to anybody and everybody if they so choose. The ATF has a pizza party every time an ffl refuses a sale on their own.
Had one repeatedly tell me they just shut out 60% of the country, even after reminding them that 60% of the country didn't go for Biden, this store doesn't have an online presence so they only deal locally, and that they are located in a state that went 14 points for Trump over Biden, on top of the dismal gun ownership rates of leftists in general. I feel your pain, but I'm never going to see that and not luagh in their face openly.
