The difference here being that Andy has had several credible death threats and is actively hunted, followed and watched by genuinely unstable people, who rationalize assaulting or killing him as “justice.”

Most of US don’t have to deal with that on the daily. We’ve already seen that many in their gang of merry faggatrons are ok with and even happy to injure or kill conservatives, because we’re sub-human in their eyes. They see it as doing the world a favor and Andy is one of the top guys on their list, followed closely by others like Elijah Schaffer.

I do agree with the sentiment of your statement but the guy has already been robbed and beaten into brain damage by these people, along with a whole host of other types of assaults. I can’t blame him for wanting to get away and disconnect from the people that hate him so much. They’re unemployed losers who’ve got nothing but time; time to sit around harassing him online, following him throughout the day, doxxing him, etc.

Edit: I’d also like to point out that Andy is both a minority AND homosexual. To my knowledge, the attack on him was never treated like a hate crime, which if everything was fair/equal, it should have been.

I agree with you, but while we think it’s silly, some people aren’t comfortable with that idea. Andy has always struck me as a very meek, mild mannered man that prefers to avoid any sort of confrontation whatsoever.

He may also be just plain scared of them at this point. PTSD is a hell of a thing and makes people think differently than they may have before. I was in a BAD car accident when I was young, so bad I should have easily been killed. I couldn’t get in another car for months and when I finally did start driving again, I couldn’t go over 30mph without having a massive wave of anxiety.

If I had been beaten by a gang of thugs so badly that I had brain damage and knew that they just basically would never face any form of justice, followed closely by an administration that glorifies, defends and damn near deify members of this group, I’d want to leave too. Especially after seeing them riot, rob, burn and kill for more than 3 months, being released immediately without charge by AG’s.
