I don't understand how dealing with two-faced RINOs with all their funding is easier than just starting clean. Basically "drain the swamp" but the swamp controls 100% of the government now instead of 90%
Creating a third political party would be risky, but I don't think taking over the GOP is realistic and conservative infighting could be just as damaging.
Taking over the GOP is a similar to draining the swamp in DC, we won't know how deep the corruption is until it's too late. I could see the GOP pretending to embrace the Trump supporters and then during the primaries they pull one over on us like the DNC did to Bernie, then a large number of conservatives feel cheated and don't go out to vote.
A new thirdy party would have given us a good chance to wake up some normies. Most sheep hear Republican and think old white pplz and racism and think it's uncool to be associated with them. But we didn't do enough to stop the MSM and Big Tech so you know we won't get a fair shot and we'll quickly be labeled the party of alt-right extremist racist nazis.
Either way we get labeled as racist nazis but at least with a third party we control our destiny.
I think it could be done and it could attract enough people from the center if from day 1 the party is crystal clear on what it stands for and has candidates that honestly believe in that message. All of us on this site have differing views, but I think we all agree that we want America and it's people to come first, we want the constitution to be followed and for there to be law and order, and we don't care about identity politics, all we want is for all Americans to live good, safe, happy, prosperous lives and a government that wants the same thing and knows that the only way to achieve that is with minimal intervention.

We need a new party, and Trump can not be its leader. The leader needs to be new, without baggage, to attract the widest range of voters possible.
