I know what I expected. Zero people from the coasts in his admin. The midwest is what is conservative and what got him elected. He needed to embrace them and appoint people from the midwest. Screw the big names, get people who are loyal and wanted to make a big name off finally getting these people.

Good luck with who to trust. I thought Sessions was loyal as he supported Trump early on, but we all saw who he was. Lots of us loved folks like Mattis and were blindsided by how much of a snake he was. Pence literally came from Indiana ala The Midwest and how'd that one work out?

That said guys like Navarro were awesome and he's from MA. Trump himself is from NY and yet he's the best president in my life time. Pompeo is from California and seemed great and I like him, but I guess he's kind of midwestern since he set up shop in Wichita, but maybe you want him gone too.

Why did Pompeo impose sanctions on all Ukrainians investigating Burisma? It was the USA that comitted a crime against another country. Ukraine has the right to investigate its corruption.

Pompeo gifted Biden more censorship.

Unfortunately when you're in charge of the largest economy in the world (now second), you need to hire people from Wall Street and D.C.

That is what they have brainwashed you to believe. There isn’t a single thing that common sense can’t handle. The greatest lie people tell us that politics is complicated, it isn’t. I could easily run this economy, and I didn’t even go to college for that.

Oh okay. In a few words or less, describe your solution to China's economic warfare strategy of under-appreciating the yuan, artificially reducing global interest rates and creating perverse incentives for unsustainable debt accumulation in the United States, especially as it relates to their goal of replacing the dollar as the global reserve currency -- and explain why it matters. Bonus points if you use the phrase "Triffin dilemma" in your answer.

Super easy, sanction and don’t deal with them. I wouldn’t negotiate trade with a hostile regime. In fact my first order would be to bring back all pharma manufacturing the second I got power. They need our money, we are fully capable of not dealing with them. Don’t allow any nations you deal with to deal with them either.
