thats the intention it was invented for in the first place. The truth is the government loves the idea of a blockchain currency. They just dont like the idea of not being in control of it.
possibly but there's more to it than that. several tokens on the market already will eventually be big players. Cryptocurrency can be more than just cash. The corporate world is going to run on smart contracts and blockchain. There will be layers upon layers of different tokens operating for different functions and uses. Its why its important to get in early. A lot of cryptos will be useless in 10 years time, but owning a bag worth $1,000 today could potentially make you a millionaire in the future. That how game changing the technology is. it will fuel this " 4th Industrial Revolution" that we hear about now and again.
I love physical gold and silver. Although prior to the market crash last year in April I sold half my cryptocurrency stack and put it into precious metals. If I would just held that 20k I pulled out it would be worth 150k today. Wereas the Silver and Gold I bought has done much at all. So that sucks, but at least my American eagles look sexy af
It is value that depends only on internet, cryptography, game theory, and the finite power of computers. Brilliant invention, although if any of those things fail (they are listed in approximately reverse order of reliability), all of it stops working.
Also if someone takes a picture of your money, they can steal it. Sort of weird.
I tend to agree. I have most of my money in real ETFs but still enjoying buying odd crypto of late. Turned 150 bucks into 850 of what I call play money
I dont fuck with stocks, but my cryptocurrency investments have been doing fantastic
Lol they are all gonna crash in a few years. The gov isn't going to allow that kinda shit to circulate.

Which is why they will destroy the ones out there. Make sure to crash them into the ground and only allow theirs to be used.
It's only a matter of time.

Is that some sort of insult? Because its quite ironic in multiple ways

I can make you go broke, I just need a magnet.
Good luck using bitcoin when the electricity shuts off.
I mined a decent amount of it with a computer hardware rig about 6 years ago. Made about $10,000
