I've been saying for years, in fact I've been saying it before FB existed (I can explain this if anyone is interested). If you have a FB account, YOU are the problem. The same goes for all of these social media companies. The only way any of them will ever be any good is if they are end to end encrypted, peer to peer supported and fully open source.
