Never mind that 130 private and parochial schools in that area have been in person learning for months and daycare centers have been operating just fine. Guess which students this horrible decision to have online learning has hurt the most? Yep...students of color. Many students are failing. Many are dropping out. Now enrollment is declining as many students move to homeschool or private schools and the Chicago School District is losing that funding.
There was plenty of funding in the original CARES act and I know Biden will give even more funding to the teachers unions, but ultimately who they have really hurt is black and brown children...so much for Black Lives Matter. Democrats do not really care. They just use people to get voted in and continue their money laundering schemes. Paris Climate Accord, anyone?
