Because a fence is for keeping things away from your ass, not for being inside it.

And i'm most certainly not a leftist.

Only a leftist zealot demands unquestioned loyalty to the party. Tim Pool has been calling out a lot of bullshit on the left

I agree with that. I'm not saying anything about loyalty to a party. What I am saying is that there is clearly two sides. Leftists and rational people. If you think i'm wrong you've been living under a rock.

He may actually be VERY useful for you. How can you get the curious but doubting to look at anything "the other side" is saying?

Direct them to a fence-sitter. A fence-sitter does not seem THAT threatening to them, and they may not feel as if they are really "betraying" their side if they look.

So: "He's not "really" one of those evil conservatives, maybe I'll listen for a little bit, hey, he points out that stuff which the evil guys are doing wrong, maybe he is kind of worth listening to..."

Baby steps, guys. You are not going to get any of the fully brainwashed to your side by directing them to somebody who is clearly just on one side of the fence - and for them the wrong side - but you probably can siphon supporters from that side if you use the not-so-threatening fence-sitters for that.

So do not dismiss Pool or others of his kind out of hand.
