Sounds like Google is just pulling access to Google Sync and possibly some other services that utilize a Google account like Calendar and Contacts. If you are concerned with privacy you should not be using said services anyway, so not really a big deal here...
Delete all your social media accounts if you can. This is so important. They only have the power we give them. If you don't use your accounts, delete all of them anyway.
Fakebook, Twatter, Instagram, Whatsapp, Yutube, Apple, Amazon etc.
Find other ways to communicate. There are plenty of guides how to delete properly and what to use instead. Convince all your friends to move with you.
