The thing I can't get over is that I feel Trump was complicit with the whole QAnon thing. If Q was a psyop, Trump let it happen either through malice (knowing it was a psyop and playing his part) or incompetence (knowing it was false, but thinking it would help him politically to tacitly encourage it).

So in my mind, either Q is real and we're all in for a happy surprise real soon or Trump is one of them (or completely incompetent in allowing it to flourish without disavowing it)... I pray for the former but it's willful blindness not to consider the latter.

I don't know if you'd call this a silver lining, but I do find it somewhat comforting to realize that if Trump was in on it (and ALL of this was political theater), then things were already so far gone that nothing would have saved us anyway... While this would be horrible if true, it would take the sting out of feeling like we'd come so far only to falter in the 11th hour.
