Hear me out: So with the whole "Go make your own..." kind of thing, I'm starting to have an impression that Elon Musk is actually 100 steps ahead right now, and is paving a way for a conservative exodus, because he's secretly one of us...
If you follow the analogy, we get to the point where it's "Go make your own planet"... and this is where Elon comes in with the whole Mars thing...
Imagine a world where government is minimal, everything is based on your merit, you're left alone to do your own thing, crime is almost non existent, Space force is a crucial thing, and lazers 'n sheeet. Welcome to Mars 2050.

I've researched Mars and there are way too many dangers and obsticles to make it doable.

It's not all that bad. That guy in that movie grew potatoes...almost.
By 2050, we are looking at having a resort there but not a full on city state. For a time, the settlement on Mars will be nearly 100% reliant on delivery of goods and foodstuffs from Earth to even work.
Also be prepared to not own any ballistic weapons of any sort because they would be a serious threat to the habitat's structural integrity and your ability to breath.
Gotta have some sort of weaponry to fight off the Rock Monsters. We all know that they're there: rock monsters....
